On RR, only GCMS notes will tell you what it is for as eligibility looks into the CRS score verification. Most probably it will be something the processing officer is not clear about and her was the Visa Officer to Review. The visa officer will double check and since he has more experience and power, might pass the file. In any case, they will intimate to you if they need anything but getting a timeline these days is not possible.. but I am sure it should only be a few weeks now :)
. Delayed timelines are very normal and so are RR.

Be positive :)
True that . Ruchi do u know any Ottawa VO wats app group ?? Can u add me there . Reagrds

Thank you Rushi! We are all in the same boat together! Hope we all get the golden email soon.

By the way, can I order GCMS notes being outside of Canada ? I see there is a website: www.applygcms.com
Can I use this ?
Only order GCMS notes from the office CIC website https://atip-aiprp.apps.gc.ca/atip/welcome.do

Rest all the websites are bogus.. they charge 40-50 $$ while the CIC atip only charges 5CAD. It will take 30days for them to revert so don’t get impatient and worry. It’s all normal.

You can order GCMS notes from anywhere in the world from this official site https://atip-aiprp.apps.gc.ca/atip/welcome.do

Don’t use any other websites.

It will cost you only 5CAD and take them 30 days to revert.
Thanks Rushi..... I just have one more question. On this website it says that in order to request 'Access to Information and Privacy' , I either need to be a Canadian citizen, a permanent resident, or an individual/corporation currently present in Canada.

Am I missing something here ? Sorry to bug you my friend!

All the new entrants to this group and the elite club (over 6months) .. I thought I would share this observation about Mr Goodale’s office. I emailed his office on the 17th Canada morning time and got a reply from them by the after which said only my criminality has passed. Eligibility and security were yet to start.

On 18th I received a second GU and when I called CIC the following Monday, I was told my eligibility was recommended pass.

So, maybe emailing Ralph’s office does waken the sleeping officers to look at your file .. :)

Ralph’s office will only update once every 3 months so the next update I can get from them will be October but hope we don’t need that long ..

Anyone else experienced the same? Cause I have read a lot of you finding Ralph’s update contradicting to what CIC call center says. Maybe there is a connection?

Hey there!

My AOR is 26th Jan. I emailed Ralph's office twice, first on 23rd and the second time on 29th. No reply yet! :(

I emailed on this ID - goodale@sasktel.net. Hope it's the correct one.

I called CIC yesterday. They again gave a very vague response wherein the agent didn't provide clarity on criminality, security and eligibility.

I don't know what else to do. How do I get this ralhp's attention!? :confused:o_O

Hi,
We have received our PR. My husband is the principal applicant. Me and my daughter are dependents. We would like to know regarding the steps to be taken with respect to travel. Should all 3 of us travel to Canada together and land on the same day?

Let us know the general steps to be taken after obtaining the PR

Thanks

I don't think so, you first had a GU already right ? That may be coincidence. In my case Eligibility is not started and no GU till date. I got reply from Ralph's office on July 12th. I need to check by calling IRCC today/tomorrow and let you know if there is any change in my Eligibility status.

yes, do that. This is only a theory. More people need to confirm here. The hypothesis I am trying to form here should confirm if emailing Ralph helps and if so, definitely a pro-tip for future applicants to also consider using.

Thanks

First of all, many congratulations!

To answer your question is a very subjective topic, so I would tell you how I see it. It would always be best to stick together as a family. Weather is nicer right now so you all could easily drift and adjust. Provided your daughter won't miss a school year, and also you guys have the financial backup to sustain a few months without jobs.

Look into childcare benefits you can apply as soon as you enter Canada so that money keeps coming in.

Research on where you would like to go live so you can find day care and schools around.

Maybe connect with friends and families in Canada to start networking.

Ideally, you should all enter Canada before your Medical expires.

Oh well, that's the catch, you have to nominate someone you know in Canada to receive your GCMS notes.
You will need a scanned copy of their PR card front & back or the passport copy showing the stamp from when they entered Canada and the Visa.

Also, their current Canada address, email and contact number.

It's less cumbersome then it looks and trust me its easy to fill the form which is also available on their website.

Its an issue only if you don't know anyone in Canada.
