Thanks for the advice @Owais Iqbal, I will give them a call mid next week.
Just wanted to let you know that I have received test invitation next month and apparently, my file has transferred to "Urgent Processing" as I have requested.
Thanks all for your support.

For those who attended the test in Mississauga office and met the case officer after...
What documents should we take with us?
Also, do we need to take the kids as well with us as they are part of the family application?

Hello Fellow-Mississauga-applicants,

Our application status is as follows :

1. My wife and children :
AOR : Nov 2, 2018
In process : Nov 8, 2018

2. My application
AOR : July 2, 2019
In Process : Not yet

A few questions :

1. Is it normal for my application to not go into processing even after 26 days from AOR?
2. Does it make a difference if we applied at separate times?
3. If there is an error, any indication of how soon do they send the documents back?
4. Can I let IRCC know and request for all of us to be processed together? The reason I am asking this is that there are lots of stories regarding Mississauga applicants' families only applying for citizenship while the primary applicant does not live in Canada or does not apply for citizenship at all.

All of us applied with well over 1100 days of residence at our respective times and our PR cards were renewed recently (within 10 days!)

Thank you.

1. It's totally normal.
2. It doesn't. I know at least 2 families who have done it this way.
3. You received AOR which means they haven't found anything INCOMPLETE. If they find an error, you may be given a chance to explain before they reject your application. So, I would say, just don't overthink it unless you added something false deliberately. It will be hard to explain that.
4. I think you can request that. Whether it's approved or not is a different thing as one application is already so far ahead in the process.

Good luck.

Thank you, that’s is reassuring.
I am just overthinking! There’s nothing deliberately false in the application, as we only applied well after the requisite days. In my first year, I spent a lot of time travelling hence I am behind by about 8 months as compared to my family.

That's totally fine. If they are in doubt, they will ask for more information. Just be prepared to submit documents showing that you were in Canada in the time period stated in your eligibility period.
