My cousin applied same time I did and got her medical request June 2019.

I guess ur applications are being handled by different imigration officers. Nothing to worry about. Join the Accra watsapp group for spousal visa.

AVO decides the hospitals that can be used for medicals. So yes your app has to get there befor MR.

AOR is June 13th, Biometrics completed and file transferred to Accra on the same day, July 2nd and still no medical request or approval Accra has received our file.

Does anyone know where I can find out what CIC is checking for when it comes to the medical? Example: drug use (Weed/Marijuana)?

I dont think the medicals entails drug use.. they check for HIV.. chest xray..syphilis, heepatitis etc.. you can research and see. Hope am able to belp.

From my understanding u get medical request 4-5months From when u get your aor so if a file was transferred this month then it’s still too early to be expecting a medical request.

I got AOR March 21. Then waited for 3 months plus to receive BR and SA. If you are suggesting that my medicals request will come 4-5 months of my AOR then I should be receiving medical anytime soon. Isn’t it?
Moreover which Aor are you talking about. Is it dt I got when I firstly submitted my file to Sydney or that they will send to me when they receive it in Accra visa office?

Really? 3 months to get BR and SA,that’s long.
And usually the file transfer is done after the a couple of days after u get the AOR, SA and given your BM. Here’s a link to the spreadsheet for February applicants I saw a couple Accra visa office applicants they got their file transferred from March immediately after BR and they got their medical request this month, cause I know it’s supposed to be a couple months after the file has been transferred, Hope this helps.
