I got the same reply from Ralph regarding Eligibility, however Ottawa office did not say the same.
Please check the reply below.

Good day,

Please be informed that your application is currently in queue for review by an officer. Unfortunately, we are not able to provide you with a date on which your file will be reviewed.

Please be assured that you will be contacted immediately should further information be required or regarding the next steps in your file.

We thank you for your patience and for keeping your correspondence to a minimum.

Regards,

Ottawa office has a different reply for Review Required file, I know a few friends who got the below reply as their file was in RR. Below is the reply:

Good day,

Your file is currently under review and requires additional verifications. As a result, the assessment period will be outside of our posted processing times.
Unfortunately at this time we are not able to determine when your application will be finalized, but our officer will contact you as soon as all verifications are completed, of if any additional information or documents are required.
We appreciate your patience and ask that you keep correspondence with our office to a minimum.
Regards,

Therefore, not sure what Ralph actually meant. Even called up CIC a couple of times and each time they say Eligibility in progress and if cross questioned they say, Eligibility is in Review and it is a normal process. Just wait.

I would suggest you mail Ottawa office and find out the exact situation of your file rather than just concluding from Ralph that its in RR.

Additionally order notes for precise update on your file. I ordered on 20th June post receiving Ralphs email. Awaiting the notes.

I don't know whom to believe now :(
They have a few standard replies. Even I have received such replies whenever I have raised a webform. As I have mentioned earlier, Ottawa uses the above two replies when they directly respond to you (i.e. when a reminder is sent to them). None of the replies are an indication of review required. My eligibility is met and no review is required, but I have still received the above responses.

The even more generic response 'documents in order and we are trying to finalize your application asap' comes from the support centre when they don't send a reminder.

In short, nothing can be made out from these responses. I just wish that they would just tell us what exactly is up with our files and give us an approximate timeline. Then we would just move on with our lives. Also, the restriction of landing one year from your medicals is also an issue because if I take up a new job now then my notice period will be after my medical expiry. After being patient for a really long time, even I am starting to get really frustrated with this process.

Send supporting documents if you get to know u r at RR, because read below:

Forwarded from another Group

Guys, usually I never post anything on any forums. But decided to post my status here, so that it will be helpful for someone. (I am a big silent reader & know everyone by name/id too)

PR got REJECTED.

ITA: 12-September-2018

AOR: 16-October-2018

Medical Cleared: 14-Nov-2018

CEC Class Express Entry- I am working in Canada currently on work permit. (Toronto)

NOC: 2174

Nationality: India

PR Rejection Date: 10-July-2019

I ordered GCMS Notes 2 times before (In January & April)

April GCMS Notes states - Review Required for my Canadian Experience, and they were not able to verify my Roles & responsibility. and they deducted 40 points

I called 2-3 times, and mostly i got a nice agent. I asked, Do you need any further documents or should i send any documents on my own as it is RR. And everytime they mentioned you have no red flags, and RR means it just an additional verification. and if officer requires any documents, They will contact you.

On 10th July, PR Got rejected.

I spoke to CIC again on 11 July,2019, explained few scenarios such as: since I followed several times for additional documents for my RR, You guys told nothing is required, everything is good.

Second, For my same roles & responsibility, you are able to verify my India experience and not able to verify my canadian experience.

Third, For same NOC and for same roles My work permit was Approved before, & since my roles/employer haven't changed so I applied PR with same NOC & roles.

Believe me, The agent was too nice, He told your case is genuine, and everyone is a human being & can make a mistake, So he told me to raise a webform with all the points & additional documents if I have. The officer will look into it. He May or may not change the decision, That i cannot guarantee, But the officer will look into it.

He also told, If you saw RR, Then you would have sent an additional documents that time only. But anyway this all happened, so just move to next step.

Guys, My strong suggestion, If anyone have RR in anything, Talk to agent politely. Send the relevant documents before it's too late.

I felt bit depressed after rejection, but I have Work permit valid till next year, so I will be in canada

So the end of story is if you see RR please send Additional Documents !!!

Yup, that's what I am saying. Some people with review required must have received this reply because they are sending it to everybody whether a review is required or not.

Basically they keep shuffling standard replies. Hardly anybody has received a reply other than these 3 standard responses. Now obviously everybody is aware of the problem including top IRCC officials but I guess they can nothing about the backlog. They will try to sort it out as soon as possible. What is clear is that some files are being prioritized based on some criteria.

Yes, people with review required will get one of the three replies because that's all they do, but as far as I've seen, RR is not related to one of them specifically.

I was just checking immitracker again and it looks like there are many people left from from Jan 2019 who have completed 6 months. So basically there is a real backlog problem.

I got first one but mine is RR as per notes.
Agent said review is normal procedure.
But maybe notes were generated on 30 may and Ottawa reply is recent.

Just a quick question,to anyone who submitted their passports in New Delhi. After we receive the message that decision envelopes have been dispatched and are in transit to the vfs. When should we expect the message to collect them?
Any idea??

Hey

I highly doubt that there will be a control measure to check your name. I don't think that it will be an issue and they may ask you to send it again if it is a problem. However, if you are really worried then you can just inform via a webform that you might have made a mistake while typing out your name.

Sometimes it takes a few days for them to update the status. Don't worry about that.

A lot of people are worried on this forum because of the recent rejections, but still those cases are very rare. Officers do give a chance to correct genuine mistakes, if any.
