I have already reached out to my MP and they were given the same response by IRCC that I have been getting...which is that they are working on my file. Fingers crossed that we all receive golden emails this week!

Nope i didnt ... I have mailed my local MP and waiting for a response from them. They asked me to wait for 5 to 10 working days and than they will provide me with some updates. I cant wait for 30 days for GCMS notes.

One can grow a human a give birth and spend 2 months with the baby in that much time. Why is it taking so long?

So was my wife who called them. My VO is Ottawa and the agent last time said to wait till Aug 2019 and today they said it could even take 11 months. I do not understand why are they issusing PR's when they already have a huge backlog to clear. I see 200+ candidates still waiting for the PR result and I am sure there are going to be more if we add previous months. Guys from Oct and Nov are still waiting for the same. There seems to be no accountability for this.

Moreover what surprises me is that I already have a work permit stamped via my previous employer and I dont think it should take more time cause my security and criminality might have already been checked before being issued a WP. Thats why i feel this is a failed process nothing more than that.

Just a fancy name change is not going to remove the reputation of previous years.

An update about my application:
Eligibility is under review.
Criminality is in progress.
Security checks have not been initiated.

AOR: Dec 5 2018 (FSW inland)
VO: file got transferred from Montreal to Vancouver sometime in May!
Currently waiting for notes that I ordered last month (I should get them in a week !).

QUESTION: "Under review" is not a positive thing, right? Or it is negative but happens to most of the cases?

If you navigate in previous months you are going to see PPR being issued for Mar/18 (16 Months), April/18 and many others..... Medicals they can ask you to do again (at your expense) or they can simply extend it in the system. I already saw both situations

I was sad and resigned but now I just accept the facts... Maybe it will take from 12 to 18 months, I will get concerned if it crosses the 18 months mark.

You have my sympathy. I don't think we are in any better a situation.

London Visa office have no telephone number. We can only raise a Web form and then get no reply.

We have never faced a situation like this before. Feeling completely helpless. I guess the forum allows us to vent.

I hope you don't have to wait much longer.

Since my wife is in Canada already I asked her to call the generic number provided by others in this forum. I am here in India and she is in Canada and its been more than 4 months we are staying in different countries and this is something thats increasing my anger and frustation.

Sent an e-mail to Mr. Ralph Goodale’s office and got an immediate response after a couple of hours. This is a lot faster and more complete than what I got from CSEs or e-mail inquiries.

Criminality passed.
Eligibility is in progress – recommend pass.
Security checks have not been initiated.


Really praying for all our PPRs soon.

How long did they take to reply the webform?? I have sent my adr through webform and they have not updated those yet. I sent those about a week ago. Should i send them again!!!

Sir, Webform can be used to know the VO. I used the same to know my VO.
