They've started your Eligibility and Security check.

I completed bio on 22nd June. On 4th July when I logged in, the status was "Application Updated". The background check changed to " Your application is in progress …. ". There was no change in application status just immediately after bio was completed, just that Biometrics was updated to Completed.

Dear @legalfalcon ,
my AOR was 05/27/19 and today I received the Biometrics collection letter. I see a lot of people saying that the first step after the AOR is passing the medical. in my profile it is still saying "you do not need a medical exam". is it normal that the IRCC ask for biometrics first?

URGENT! Please help

Hi guys, my profile got updated today.

I received an ADR for PCC or RCMP check from Canada.

I’m FSW- Outland applicant from India with previous history of stay in Canada.

Has anyone got their RCMP done from India? Does VFS Global in India does that?

Please help

Hi everyone,

I'm an FSW-Inland applicant with AOR received on 27 May.

Medical passed yesterday (8 July) and under the "Applicant Information", biometrics info was updated with my biometrics number that I took 2 years ago for study permit application. The Unique Client Identifier (UCI) was also changed to the one I had for my study permit application

However, it still shows "We do not need your fingerprints. We will send you a message if this changes" in the biometrics section under "Details about your application status". Is this normal at all?

Thanks in advance

Hello everyone,

I've been a quiet reader, but have seen a lot of good information in here, which helped me going through my process. (some nasty one as well, but let's focus on the good ones...).
Today I received my PPR.

My time line is:
CEC Inland
AOR : 14th May
ADR: 2nd July
MED: 3rd July
Submitted Additional Documents : 3rd July
PPR email: 9th July

I never got to see my Eligibility as passed, and my Background check is in "We are processing your background check". The funny thing is that I was anxious about getting the notification of having my Eligibility passed and end up receiving the PPR. I'll be sending them my documents by the end of the week and hopefully will get all this sorted out very soon.

Cheers.

It's pretty plain, @trihuynh. IRCC now requires biometrics to be done by candidates. But as it seems you have a valid biometrics profile,
biometrics info was updated with my biometrics number that I took 2 years ago
However, should they deem that you need to submit another, then they'll let you know.

That sounds normal and within their requirements.

Many many congratulations!
I have a question regarding additional document. They have asked for a better scanned version of my daughter’s passport. There was a specific placeholder where it was requested to upload the file. I have uploaded it already. Do you receive a confirmation email form them saying they have received it? I have looked into the “documents section” and it is showing the one I have uploaded.
Many thanks

Hi
Yes my case is similar to yours, I had given my rcmp certificate from an accredited agent in Bangalore. I doubt the vfs centres do that.

Hi,
Thank you so much for the reply. can you please give me more information. I am really stressing out.

What agency did you send your fingerprints to? and how much time it takes?
I have download C-216C form for fingerprints. Is there any other document that was needed?

I would really appreciate your help.
