Does anyone have an idea of what month AVO is processing right now ? Wanna be sure I’m on the right track

Application received: March 28, 2019
AOR 1 & Biometrics request letter: May 17, 2019
Sponsorship Approval: May 21,2019
Biometrics done and updated on GCKey: 3rd June 2019

Update on ECAS shows: we started processing your application for permanent residence on 24th June 2019

I checked My GCKEY account and it shows “we are reviewing whether you met the eligibility requirements”

Anyone with similar update? And what does eligibility requirements mean?

I have a somewhat similar timeline to yours but my application went to Warsaw VO.

I'm not sure which is which in eligibility requirements and the background check, but I think eligibility is the one that checks your admissibility to Canada, i.e. your criminal records and stuff, while background checks your relationship, your life etc etc etc

you have it backwards. bgc is to check if you are admissible to Canada and checks security, criminality while eligibility is to check is you are eligible to come to Canada under the program you applied. if you are sponsoring your spouse, they are looking at the genuineness of the relationship

your still waiting for criminal check? and how did you find out your security is passed. From my understanding, criminality is the quickest because it's electronic and based on your biometrics. Have you done biometrics?

When I called to find out the status they told me I passed my security check. The guy said they still have to do my criminal check. I sent my Police criminality check documents with my application so I am not sure what’s going on. I didn’t have to do BIO. They never requested it to be done

that's odd that you didn't get Bio request. did you ask about that?

What do you have to do when you do BIO?

I sent 18 jan
Recieved 22jan
UCI and file number recieved on 28march
At the same time recieved Boimatric letter and I done on 29march.
And still am waiting for medical request.
