No doubt it can be a frustrating wait, especially when it is getting longer than you envisage or estimated by IRCC. Nonetheless, it's good to keep hope alive. Try your best to answer all questions and provide documents requested for.
If you do this, you will get that response you desire.

My application took exactly a year as 1-2 days to the end of the estimated 12 months processing time I got my passport request letter. The most trying period was when I got a procedural fairness letter on my Letter of Support, after a Peer Review. Be dogged, be positive and have absolute trust in God to take care of things outside your control, and you will find success at last.

I submitted my application on May 1st 2018, got AOR on May 7th 2018 and it’s been 13 months now and I haven’t gotten PPR or COPR. I applied from inland while my cofounder is Outland. This process is frustrating honestly, I recently requested GCMS notes to see more details on the application.

This is what my application shows:

@georgey 101,
We applied around the same time with you - 31 May 2018. My cofounder is inland while I'm out and with 2 dependants. I guess multiple partners/applicants, especially with dependants take longer time than single ones. Additionally, our application went for peer review and through procedural fairness, but thanking God it's now at passport request stage.

Wondering why yours is taking a little bit longer. Do you guys have multiple dependants? Did it go through peer review? Did they send you a procedural fairness letter?

I hope the fact that our application has multiple applicants/dependants and went through peer review/procedural fairness and still succeeded at last will encourage you. Hopefully, your approval will arrive soon.

Thanks for the encouragement. My cofounder has two dependants while I have none. We got a procedural fairness letter on Nov 29th 2018 but we responded immediately with all the relevant information. Based on the timeline for submission we should have gotten the ppr by May 1st 2019 but hopefully it comes out soon

Hello again,
one more query, I need help with.
I am the only person applying for SUV (no dependents) so if I plan to apply for a WORK PERMIT under SUV I have to only show funds for one person and not the entire family?

Thank you in advance.

Yes, you just need to show the funds for one person. Although it’s good to show above the required amount.

Hi guys, I have some questions about the work permit under SUV. Since we want to start our business in Canada as soon as possible, does any of you applied work permit before your PR? The PR should be take at least 5-6 months according to our forum, but what the Canadian immigrant website said is 12-14 months, which is too long for waiting for start our business. How about the work permit, how long does that take? If I am apply a work permit before the PR, will the processing time of the PR delay? And if my work permit visa is refuse, will that effect my PR apply? Thank you so much guys.

The work permit and Pr applications are processed by 2 different Visa offices. The processing times for Pr should not be delayed if you apply for Work permit. For the PR, expect the processing of 12-14months.
For the work permit processing time, use the CIC website as your guide, let me know if you need any more information.
