Hi, is GCMS buddy better or Get GCMS???
They will probably result in identical GCMS notes. :)

I personally used Get GCMS and it took me $20 and 33 days to get the notes. As far as I could tell, there was nothing enlightening in the notes, because they looked severely out of date. There was something like "criminality: in progress, security: not started", but I don't think that's the case, because the last update was in November 2018. More likely is that the agent just didn't have time to get back to my case since then.

Hi guys,

I finally received the RFV email yesterday after nearly 10 months post AOR!

Here is my full timeline:

Category: FSW Inland
CRS: 535
ITA: Jul 25, 2018
AOR: Sep 5, 2018
MEP: Sep 27, 2018
ADR: RCMP Certificate - Sep 27, 2018
Criminality: Passed - Dec 13, 2018
Eligibility: RR (POF) - Dec 13, 2018
Eligibility & Security: Passed - May 30, 2019
RFV: Jun 25, 2019

My advice based on my experience:
1) Order GCMS notes after 3-4 months post AOR and then once a month. This is how I learned that my eligibility had RR for POF for a missing bank statement.
2) Submit documents proactively to clarify your situation if you have RR on anything. I proactively uploaded the bank statement that was missing in my application and I believe that this saved me from an even longer wait.
3) Call IRCC and ask for a detailed status update regarding your eligibility, criminality and security regularly (every 2-3 weeks for me) after 6 months post AOR. Ask them to send a reminder to case agents if things are dragging along. My eligibility and security were passed about 4 weeks after a reminder was sent. Not sure if it is a coincidence or not but one thing is for sure: calling and asking to send a reminder did not hurt.

Hello,
I will be traveling to Canada around August 7 or 8. It will be a soft landing and I want to go to Ottawa. Can any one suggest me if it is a good idea to land in Montreal? Or should I just go for Toronto?

Guys I'm in my 10th month now waiting under RR. I've applied under Indian residency but spending more time in UAE on tourist/visit visas. Right now I'm back in India for a few days. Can I get my remedicals done here without they asking for it? It is one fourth the cost here compared to Dubai.

Good news
ITA: Sept 05, 2018
AOR: Sept 29, 2018
MED: Oct 26, 2018
ADR : 11 from Oct - June
RFV: June 27, 2019

This journey was a very hard and at times unbearable, unpredictable one (take for eg. Work permit expired Tuesday of thi week and i applied for BOWP paid 710 and look what happen today)
However, persons that are still waiting, keep the faith, be strong, vent if u must to release the stress, then move on, you will get it when you least expect it.
Thanks to all who shared their info in this forum, we were our own consultants. This forum really taught me alot in completing my own paperwork. God Bless guys.

can somebody help me to understand this?
GCMS notes can be raised only by canada citizen or PR holder?
