I received AOR on 30 May 2019
SA - 5 June 2019
However, I have not received any request for biometrics? I have checked online and our emails and there has been no such request yet.
Has anyone had this happen before where you get Spousal Approval and a long wait till biometrics request?
 
Does anyone know if it’s okay for the PA to have their biometrics done at a VAC office in a different city (same country) than the one closest to their address of residence listed application. My husband is visiting family and another VAC location is more convenient for him, but we don’t want to mess up the application having biometrics done in one city and maybe medical in another. If anyone has experience with this your help is greatly appreciated!

It doesn't matter where you get that done.

There is no specific time frame to receive request. Its a process that takes 12 months on average for most applications and you are not even a month in. Be patient.
 
does anybody have a timeline for quebec ? after the form submission , how much time doe it take for CSQ ? or medical ?

Hi Twigal

Yes, i am waiting for my Biometric, got SA mail, done with medicals and awaiting biometric

It can take a while, we got the payment request on 30th April and didn't get the biometrics request until 21st June. I've seen other people on the forum waiting only a couple of weeks, so I think there's no hard and fast rule. Hopefully you won't be waiting as long as we did haha, but it can certainly take up to 2 months.
 
Just curious about the medical exam...

How long did it take for your doctor to submit to IRCC?

Tomorrow will be a week.
(I’m nervous because the panel physician wouldn’t use the medical form I tried to give him-as directed by medical request letter- He insisted on using his little IPad, aka emedical, only. Has anyone had this happen?)

it is e-medical which they submit electronically, pretty normal.
