UPDATE I talked with CIC, and it makes the most sense to withdraw my current application and resubmit a new one (had a few other issues).

and just FYI, they're currently opening spousal sponsorship applications from April 1st, so they're behind about two months!!! Thinking we will all get the AOR August timeframe!

Thanks for the update! What number did you use to contact CIC? Whenever I try to call immigration, I can't get through.

I used 1-888-242-2100

My advice is to call around 7:30/7:45am eastern time, you tend to get through relatively quicker! Most I've waited has been 17 minutes. Online it says their client centre opens at 8am, but the woman this morning picked up my call around 7:40am eastern!

As I read in other threads if everything is fine I should get the AOR by early August! Good luck to you all!

Returned: May 30th
Received by us: June 6th
Application Resent June 6th
Estimated Receive Date: Today June 12th.

We missed the handwritten signature next to the electronic signature on Schedule A but that was the only thing we missed. Also, applying for restoration of status on Friday, June 14th when we can get my photo taken.

How did you pay for the fee?? I keep seeing we need to apply and pay online but aren't we supposed to include the OWP papers with the sponsorship application? Or do we apply in both places (paper with sponsorship & online for OWP)? I'm confused

You are supposed to send in a paper application for the OWP, not apply online. Include both the applications in the same package.

Ok and we can pay online (to get receipt) without having applied online?

We applied for the OWP + PR = Inland, Canada Class.

Does anyone know where can you check your application? Or I'm suppose to wait until we get the email?
