I receidve my email acknowlegment, but I can't log in. Every time I try it says application is not found. Any ideas? I tried also linking my account.
The reason I am reviewing my card is because I changed my name outside Canada, maybe that's whats blocking me, but I tried with old name, new name.. nothing :(

It takes a couple of days for your application to appear in the system. They received my application on May 23. I received the acknowledgment email saying that they have received my application on June 3. It was not until June 4 or 5 that I was able to start tracking my application online.

Yes, I called today to make sure everything is fine, and after the call it started working. So far I only see in progress. My situation is different, as I am applying for card because I changed my last name outside Canada. I am PR only for 3 years still. Fingers crossed its ok and will be processed fast

I believe the steps are: first they acknowledge the receipt, then it goes IN PROCESS, then DECISION MADE.

For me, I never saw the IN PROCESS status because by the time I logged in to see the status of my application, it already said DECISION MADE.

Wait a day or two. If your application was complete and no other issues, it should change to DECISION MADE soon.

Hope this helps.

Hi All,
Great news :)!!
PR card arrived by mail on Friday June 7, 2019, Just two days to Toronto!!!! super fast.

Here is my total time line: I sent my application on May 10, 2019, via Canada post express courier.

  1. We received your application for a permanent resident card on May 13, 2019.
  2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on May 28, 2019.
  3. We started processing your application on May 28, 2019
  4. Your Permanent Resident card was sent by mail on June 5, 2019.( Status changed to decision made same day , and still showing the same till date).
  5. PR card arrived June 7, 2019.
Total process time 26 days.

Few more notes that might help:

1- Applied with minimum days 745 days, but straight stay in Canada.
2- Accompanied every single proof that I could have with my application as learned from this board on "the best way top renew PR card".
3- Color copies of all passports, (all pages) I had since become PR.
4- Excel sheet with all trips recorded on all my passports.
5- Copies of : Tax assessment, contract and rent payment statements, driver licence, landing papers, air ticket.....
6- Cover letter, stating the total of days in Canada , documents attached and mainly last trip stamp recorded on my passport dated two years back.

Wishing best of luck for all those waiting!

That's great!

And wow! You sent in a lot of documents with your application. I just sent in the bare minimum as required by the documents checklist, which included 1. the main application, 2. photocopy of my passport (only the first page), 3. the fee, and 4. two pictures.

For more context: I am from Pakistan. I got my PR card in 2014 but stayed out of Canada for about 2 years. Have been here since 2016, with quite a few trips outside, but met the minimum days requirement before applying to renew the PR.

Hi All,

I just wanted to post my experience and timeline for those like me whose process didn't go as quickly/smoothly as everyone else's :)

- PR since January 2014
- Relocated to Canada in January 2017
- Applied in January 2019 for PR card renewal with 740 days (I didn't know before that this would raise a red flag)
- AOR on January 29th
- Request for more documents (entry and exit record, passport copies) on February 9th
- Documents submitted within 1 week
- I called around mid March to check on the status and was told it is was sent to a local office for further review
- Decision made June 5th
- Card received June 7th

No further information was requested.

Is it strange for there to be a delay between the AOR and the date IRCC begins processing? My mother and I sent our applications in one week apart. Her AOR and processing date is June 8th. I've only received an AOR for June 17th but no signs of processing yet even though I'm seeing everyone's application get processed the same day IRCC receives it. I can't even log in to check the status. Don't know if I should be worried.

Mine was received in May 29th and I already got the decision made. Just waiting to receive the card by post. Was it delivered? Did you try loging in? Maybe there was mistake in email. I would try log in to see if you can, you probably have UCI number.

Hi

I have applied for pr renewal application last week and case processing centre received the application on 12th June . However I still can't access the online status using UCI. Anyone else in same boat ?
