Ya im curious about this too. Seems to good to be true. Interesting though because her file got transferred to Mississauga as apposed to Mexico. I was waiting to see this as I think with the applicant volume increasing at Mexico VO, Mississauga will start to help (hoping and crossing fingers that my assumption is correct

You need to read the papers. You have to go to the vac in la capital and send it from there.

Did you make a mistake with the year you applied? As I see you applied in April and you have a decision already! if it is correct or not congratulations either way!!

Nope, I applied on April of this year, I’m guessing I just broke a record

both living in the USA with a work permit. Makes this a very different case maybe?? You state your in the USA 5 years. This may have helped and made this a very quick file??

Idk but I was surprised that my file was transferred to Mississauga instead of Mexico, and also I still can’t believe it took less than 2 months to get PPR

So what? why should that expedite your case?

Like I said, I don’t know, I just got lucky getting ppr in less than 2 months ‍♂️

All it means is mexico didnt process the application. It was mississauga doing the processing as the poster lives in the us. Most us applicants are processed through mississauga. They are much faster

Hey everyone!

After a long wait we finally received COPR today. It took us a total of 366 days.
We have been married 7.5 years and lived together the entire time (in Mexico). No dependents, no previous divorces, no criminal records.

Our timeline:

Application received Jan 5, 2018
AOR March 2.
Schedule A request March 6.
Medical request March 7.
Right to Permanent Residence Fee request April 4.
April 10 Application forwarded to MCVO.
Application started processing May 2.
PCC Request July 23.
SILENCE FOR A LONG EFFING TIME
January 3 2019 Decision Made on ECAS *and* PPR
January 16 CoPR received.

We didn't received AOR2 or Pre-arrival services email at all.
I received the AOR2, But I didn't receive any AOR1 or they didn't send me any email about SA. I was waiting for response from them. But I end up checking CIC application status after they sent me the AOR2. Sponsor status Decision Made and Applicant In Process. Kind of ridiculous the way they do things.
