@InlovewithMaple
we've discussed this here before; Dad was part of his family count in 2016 and 2017 - therefore he should be counted in. he would not be part of the count on the years he is deceased, 2018.
similar to the newborn situation, example found here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=1460&top=14
https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/need-help-with-how-to-count-family-member-and-tax.548411/ read this danny

what was your source of the info you posted in previous text of yours. deceased person will only be counted if and inly if they were PA or PAs dependent and they passed after the application was submitted. Let me tell you my brother is a VO. plz tell me your source

though I really like Rob and canuck_in_uk's posts, I will side with the example from CIC's website. If they are only counting a newborn when s/he is born it only makes sense to not count deceased people once they are no longer alive. Example 3 - http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=1460&top=14

@ayaan2019 I am not gonna enter into a p!%@& contest with you. @InlovewithMaple please disregard my post and give IRCC a call to confirm if ur Dad should be on the count or not. Personally I'd error on the side of caution and include him in, if he doesn't need to be counted, great.. he makes enough money - life goes on. Better than not counting him at all and then finding out he is short on the income. Again, my personal opinion. Best thing to do, though - it call/tweet CIC.

this is it on this topics for me.

From google:

All income you receive is taxable unless it is expressly exempted. Such exemptions include worker’s compensation payments and certain compensatory damages awarded through litigation. However, short-term disability payments received under an insurance policy are not exempt, though you may not be liable for additional taxes on such payments if you have already borne the cost of taxation through the structure of the plan.

Q.1 Why you are asking this question now, you should have resolve it before the EOI
Q.2 Did you talk to your tax accountant? If not, talk with someone
Thank you for the insight...

A.1 My understanding is that my disability income was a source of income, but I can't show it on imm5748 form, because it does not show up on my NOA.

A.2 I have talked to Canada Revenue and also my insurance provider. Sunlife says since I had paid taxes on premiums, my disability is non-taxable and hence they do not provide a tax from for it. Canada Revenue said if Sunlife does not provide a tax form, there's no way I could claim it, and for it to show in my NOA. So that's how my income is not showing on line 150...

first time posting. validated all the forms, got parents to sign them - only to realize after shipment that there is a mistake on passport number of main applicant on form imm0008 (an extra 5). What would be the case scenario? I should be able to redo the form, validate again, and attach the last page with my dad's signature? the information in the last page would remain the same

Thanks for your help

I don't think as IRCC is going strictly by NOA but may be some exceptions call at IRCC to confirm
I tried to call them on their 1-888 number. There's no option on the menu re application. nor an option to talk to a representative. All options are for after you apply. Do you know a trick you can share w me? Am I missing something?

Is it normal to see delivery status as " Delivered to recipients delivery partner" and Signed by G Martin? Is this delivered to IRCC or Canada Post messed up?
I guess so , mine also shows the same. All the Martin taking care of our applications there :)
