No, because most of Indian marriages are arranged. What I read on this forum, usually it's a scenario kind of like this "never met before, started talking on the internet, 2 months passed, a marriage was arranged, right after a marriage they come to a sponsorship process". None of them (Indian sponsors I mean) become a PR already being married.
I enjoy how you say definite sentences and just group the whole thing by saying ‘None of them become a PR already being married.’ You are on the Spousal part of the Forum where yes most people get married after becoming a PR but there are other sections like Express Entry and PNP, where people do apply after getting married and either add their spouse as a non accompanying dependent or some even get married while their process is on before they become PRs.
I dont see in what way an arranged marriage makes it incompatible with my hypotheses.
You are absolutely right that arranged marriage has nothing to do with your plausible hypothesis. But again, I know of a few people who have had been added as a non accompanying dependent and still were sent to the local visa office in Delhi for processing (Jan applicant) hence not always the case but yes it could be true, just not with spousal apps I think.

Your point doesn’t make much sense. All it means is that More Indians than other nationalities like to share their personal information with a tracker.

I am a Feb Australian applicant who has received COPR, does that make them bias towards Australian applicant?
The answer is no, there are multiple people from Jan (according to tracker) as well as @samijade14 who applied before me and haven’t received their PPR, it simply is the process, The workload and the individual circumstances of each applicant.

We need to remain supportive of each other to make this forum worthwhile. Someone said early “Comparison is the thief of joy.”

Like I said, I am done with my process but I want to be there for my fellow February applicants and answer any questions people might have but if it continues with this rubbish of bias and jealousy with no constructive words of congratulations then I think I will move on.

Again, I realise it’s easier said than done but we all went into this with the expectation of 12 months. Keep that in mind.
I totally agree with you. When we all started this process in February, it wasn’t a race to see who could finish the fastest, it was that we all do get across the finish line and share that joy (as well as frustrations) together without biased comments being thrown left and right. There are so many on this group who are going through the same where they are still hands deep in the process without news but I see no such negativity from them and they do come out to congratulate or even like the post acknowledging it. My own case I considered was very straight forward as I have known and been with my childhood school friend turned wife for pretty much all my life and yet I was asked for additional docs whereas some who knew their wives just for a few months and got married shortly after, breezed through. That doesn’t make their file less important than mine or make them getting their PPR before me less of an achievement. In any case the few people here can vent and discuss it as much as they want, they have their right to do so. Congrats again on your COPR btw!

I am a newbie here. Need a quick info.

I am a Canadian PR living in Canada and about to submit the application for Spouse Sponsorship and Dependent Child Sponsorship for Wife and Daughter.

Question is: After I have submitted the application (outland one since PA is outside of Canada), can I go to home country and stay with Wife and Kid in home country until entire process is done (full 8 months or so) and then once their COPR is with us, come back to Canada with them?

To be clear, both me (sponsor) and wife/kid (PA) will be in home country for the entire process duration ... AOR1, Medical, MVO, AOR2, DM, PPR, COPR.

Has anyone received pre-arrival services letter? I see this on the GC Key today. How long does it take to get DM after that?

Says on ECAS that they sent me mail on May 16th and to consider delays in mail before contacting them. We’ve had no mail. However they sent me the Biometric Request on that day through my GC. Confused?

No you can not. Only Canadian citizens can live outside Canada throughout the process. PR holders must remain in the country.

See below link which should clarify-

https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/application-forms-guides/guide-5289-sponsor-your-spouse-common-law-partner-conjugal-partner-dependent-child-complete-guide.html#eligibility

You can become a sponsor if you are:
  • a Canadian citizen, a person registered in Canada as an Indian under the Canadian Indian Act or a permanent resident,
  • at least 18 years old
  • living in Canada:
    • if you’re a Canadian citizen living outside Canada, you must show that you plan to live in Canada when your sponsored relative becomes a permanent resident.
    • You can’t sponsor someone if you’re a permanent resident living outside of Canada.”

Yeah that will be the biometrics if it was same day. ECAS shows mail even if it’s email or GCKey advice.

From what I have seen throughout the forum it varies. My PPR and arrival services all came in one email and DM showed in ECAS the next day - hopefully yours updates to DM over the next few days.

@Alibless I noticed your AOR2 line hasn't been updated.. Has the PA application started processing after transfer to KVO?
I haven't received any mail to indicate that they have started processing the application. The last email i received from cic stated that it's transfered to kvo. I hope we'll hear something soon

Anyone here who has submitted their passport and received their COPR via VFS Mumbai? How long did it take to get your passport back?
