And I am not being rude but have you seen the tracker?
You do realise thats a very small sample of the sheer number of people who apply for PR right? If you see the tracker, most applicants are Indians and thats still a very small sample of those who get to stay in Mississauga. There are way more who get transferred to NDVO. Do I feel the process can improve where all VO’s outside Canada have a fixed level process? Sure. But that does not make it biased. There is nothing to gain for the Government choosing people of one nationality over another if u see it as biased.

The tracker is a small amount of people, you're right. But it's still representative. And you can see that most of the applicants are from India (40-50%), and most of them are processed within 3 months. And even if you say the real number of applicants is 50 thousand, the tracker is still representative and still 40 to 50% of those 50000 will be Indians, processed within 3 months. This trend is clearly seen by others and this is what really frustrates people. If you look at Jan or Feb tracker, at those who already got PPR, you'll see almost all of them, with a minor exception, are Indians. I understand people's frustration, when some of us wait for the whole 12 months, and others are free to go in less than 3 only.
We can infinitely talk about the reasons and why this is happening. But we don't know the reason anyway. What we do know and see is the result, and that's what people are talking about on this thread and all threads for other months as well.

I posted this is another thread so have a read if your file has not been transferred yet. May make sense to some.

‘Hi there. So I dont know how much I can help in calming your nerves but I can try to make an estimated guess on why the file transfer for you all is taking time. I attribute it to 3 reasons.
1.The PA is from a country where its tedious for the Canadian Government to get info on your Criminality (Even though we submit PCCs, they still do get in contact with the agencies in the PA’s home country. Of course if you have lived in more than one country and if its also Tedious for those other countries, it adds further to the delay. (I can give my example, I lived in NZ for 2 and a half years long back and according to the conditions on the checklist was not needed to submit my PCC for Nz and was not asked for it as its relatively easier for Canada to do so directly through info sharing deal they have. However, since NZ govt takes around 20 business days to get back with the PCC, my file transfer was delayed when people who filed their application around my time got their transfers. I made a rough guess on when my file should be transferred based on the above info and the guess was correct as it did get transferred on the 18th Day of the 20 days I had kept as a deadline for transfer [personal guess]). So its not really the Canadian government delaying the processing but PA’s own.
2.Your file has been chosen for security screening. I wont go in detail about why you get selected. The reasons are many and some unfair (check anatomy of a Background Check post on forum, specifically the Security Screening Section, you’ll know what I am saying...) So for those of you who have no travel history or seems like a straight forward case, this could be it.
3. This one’s the simplest reason I feel and quite possibly the true reason in most cases. That your file is not easy enough (according to them) to be processed in Canada and needs to be transferred to a local VO. Now most local VO’s are slow compared to Mississauga and have crazy workloads (Mexico, New Delhi, London) to name a few. So your file is grouped with a bunch of others to be sent for further processing there but that takes quite a few months. (For eg: Mexico VO, the trends show that all applications that are in queue for being transferred there for processing have a minimum wait time of 5 months).

So I may be wrong too and this is just an idea of what might be the reasons for delays in transfers. I hope it may help clear things out if it makes sense to any of your cases. I wish you all the best and hope and pray you get transferred soon too!’
It is probably right but you never know and you can't be sure about CIC and how they work.

And I totally get the frustration and unlike a few others have not stopped anyone from venting it out on the forum. Plus you directly attributing the spreadsheet statistic even as a representative of the entire population is a little farfetched considering a lot of variables can easily skew that data. Yes Indian applicants are being processed faster and people can talk all they want about it but calling it biased outright based on someone’s nationality is not the best way to vent. Like I said earlier, the government gains nothing by giving more preference to one nationality over another. Multiple factors we can never know are causing this trend. People on the NDVO thread are literally getting PPR in their 12th month these days. Just because those applicants are overshadowed by the Mississauga ones, doesn’t mean its not happening.

Is exactly what we wonder for the most part. Thanks for getting our point

Your point doesn’t make much sense. All it means is that More Indians than other nationalities like to share their personal information with a tracker.

I am a Feb Australian applicant who has received COPR, does that make them bias towards Australian applicant?
The answer is no, there are multiple people from Jan (according to tracker) as well as @samijade14 who applied before me and haven’t received their PPR, it simply is the process, The workload and the individual circumstances of each applicant.

We need to remain supportive of each other to make this forum worthwhile. Someone said early “Comparison is the thief of joy.”

Like I said, I am done with my process but I want to be there for my fellow February applicants and answer any questions people might have but if it continues with this rubbish of bias and jealousy with no constructive words of congratulations then I think I will move on.

Again, I realise it’s easier said than done but we all went into this with the expectation of 12 months. Keep that in mind.

I've replied at alaria's response as yes its frustrating for us , waiting, when we see this. Congrats on your copr good for you but i guess we have the right to be pragmatic a bit when we see results. We never claimed it was a just indian acceptance you should re-read correctly, we were just talking on the thrend we see in stats thats it.

could it be that alot of those indians sponsors only became permanent resident a few years ago and already had their wife and stuff examined as non accompanying family members back then and it makes it faster for the gov to process their spouse sponsorship this time around?

No, because most of Indian marriages are arranged. What I read on this forum, usually it's a scenario kind of like this "never met before, started talking on the internet, 2 months passed, a marriage was arranged, right after a marriage they come to a sponsorship process". None of them (Indian sponsors I mean) become a PR already being married.

I dont see in what way an arranged marriage makes it incompatible with my hypotheses.
