I talked to a CIC agent and she said Sydney office is experiencing a huge backlog of files and everything has fallen behind. Asked for my uci number and told she can't see anything in the system and told me to wait for another 4 weeks. Also said this means either they haven't opened my file yet or they have sent it back due to some errors. I'm a march 22 applicant

As per the guidelines for photo spec. they mentioned that we should write our name behind the photos

Photos are not altered its just I forgot to write my name.

I see that. But, our photos (both of them for each applicant) had the store stamp and signature all over the back! (I hope CIC allows that now!). I am not saying that you altered the photos! (I was trying to say that maybe it was a good thing you did not write the names behind!... because while writing on the back of the photo can cause indentations on the front of the photos - press marks from the pen-tip). Anyway, I doubt the application would be returned for that reason! Good luck!
