Help guys, is this normal...Its been 1 month now i submitted ny passport to accra VO throgh VFS lagos, application approved in CIC account since last week but no update on VFS tracker. Is this normal? what is the maximum timeline to dispatch passport from Accra to lagos...Anyone with info can help pls..

Are there situations in which the tracking information isn't completely reliable. and when exactly should one be worried and check VFS Lagos himself

The tracking is actually confusing not that it is not reliable. I got mine within 13 working days of sending it. If it is passed that time frame, Just Call their Lagos office number only or go there yourself.

Thanks....but could it be ready in their office and they don't update the tracker because I will be travelling like 4hrs to Lagos... There phones never goes through and they never respond to emails...this is so vexing...

Oh you don't live in Lagos. Call them very early as from 8.00am, i think they resume then. Keep trying for 30mins until u get through. That's what I did, before I went to their office to pick up all my family's passports.

Yea I don't live in lagos unfortunately. Wait a minute..your VFS tracker wasn't updated when your passport was dispatched to Lagos and you had to call to confirm?

Ok, will try and call as you suggested and if I don't get through, I might have to travel to Lagos VFS office coz I already made flight reservations and it's fast approaching..Getting in touch with Accra Canada Embassy is a dead end as far as I know.

At no point..but after like 2 weeks the tracker changed from your application "has been sent to AccraVO" to "it's been processed at Accra VO"..thats how it has been till today..Even when i received an email of application approved with counterfoil last week in my CIC account, the tracker didn't change..#Weird.
