Question Regarding Procedural Fairness

On the CIC's Procedural Fairness website, there's a section titled: Legitimate expectation which says that: "if an applicant has been given 30 days to provide certain documentation, a negative decision should not be made before the end of the 30 day period even if some documentation has been received."

Does that also apply to positive decisions? For example, if they ask for a specific document and you have it on hand and upload it within a day, do they still wait 30 days before moving forward?

Seems like a pretty unnecessary delay, given the sequential nature of this process.

Others can comment as well but personal view would be that depends on volume of applications in process at the time where you might end up back in the pending queue given any one application does not have exclusive access to the process. So could be one day could be 30 could be more no way to predict although you could argue that in terms of fairness a negative decision has a greater impact so that should not be made in advance of a deadline to allow for due process.

Did you heard back CIC on your PFL response.
I had submit webform to submit response documents for my PFL letter and waiting for CIC response on these documents.
If you don't mind, can you please updates of your case. Did CIC respond or acknowledge to PFL response and how long did they took?
