No need to be stressed or concerned. It will be a very straight forward interview, with just some factual questions.

Just go and have a conversation. Once done, you will be all good.

You are almost there.
Thank you sir! It's great to be at this point after a long and stressful process. I am really grateful to experts like you who provided me with directions and guidance along the way.

I have one more question. If my wife and daughter get their PR after the landing interview, will CIC give us 2 COPR? 1 for my wife and 1 for my daughter?

Thank you so much Sir, I was seeking help to understand my notes, specially review on eligibility, still as you said i am not able to understand on what review is required. Is it review in a general by the senior officer or is it review on any specific document, as per my notes there is no specific comment written on for any document.
Anyways it is a great help of yours to make me understand some way. Thank you Sir !!!

Hi, great update since last week, my is PNP NOVEMBER 6TH 2017, ELIGIBILITY PASSED FOR SURE. CREAMILY PASSED, EXTEND MEDICAL BY VO. APRIL 17 TH.
I GOT GHOST UPDATE FROM CIC ACCOUNT IN THIS WEEK WEDNESDAY, I call cic , they said they are starting processing my security check. in Thursdays, I got my BOWP approved in one year.
I have a question about security check, when agent said that we are starting in processing your case, Is there any chance go to SS? I read a lot of your before post, I know it is kind of stupid question, but just want confirm. thanks a lot.

@legalfalcon , I recently received the landing request for my pr application for May 31 but I'm shifting to a new address on June 1. In this case, should I I'm inform them during the landing interview to send the PR card to my new address as I'll be shifting the next day or I should keep the same old address and can collect my pr card from them?
If I have to keep my old address and after moving to New address should I update in IRCC about this or can continue with the old address in PR card?
I'm a inland CEC applicant.

Thanks

After you complete your landing formalities, it takes 45-60 days for you to receive your PR card. It would be advisable that you provide your new address. You can inform IRCC of the new address during the landing interview, or after that through CSE webform.

There are many factors that are behind why applicants end up in SS. While IRCC does not release the exact procedure, but I have listed some reasons in my detailed post -

In some cases you may see a RR, without any substantial reason. This is simply a way for the analyst requesting the officer to review the application before making a final determination. This could be because the analyst may not be very comfortable marking the application has passed, or may have not seen some documents that are there, which is very common.

Like I mentioned before, no need to worry.

Once the security starts, the chances of a refusal are very slim, unless an applicant is hiding something, or has affiliations with groups designated as dangerous.

Usually your security should be cleared within 1-2 months post eligibility. If it takes longer, then you may be in SS. To know when your SS started and if CSIS and CBSA has concluded their involvement, you will need to request CBSA / CSIS notes, or you can wait it out.

Yes, each individual on the application will get a visa in their passport and a COPR.

@legalfalcon
Hi again!
So something a bit weird happened. In January of this year, I raised a CSE for an update on my application (AOR June 2017). I knew csis were done with my file by then and had sent back their recommendation to cbsa. I received a reply on my email the next day from Lhat my application is still undergoing background checks. So I assumed CBSA hadn’t yet sent it back to CIC. Since then, I haven’t raised any CSEs or status inquiries.
But oddly enough, I receive a message today on my cic portal, and it says that its a reply to my inquiry, and that my application is currently under review.

Why would they send me an update I didn’t request? And since they didn’t mention background checks, is it safe to assume that part is finally over?
Hello,

I have noticed from your posts that you have undergone a long time in background checks.

Have they completed yet? Would be great to know the latest with your application.
Our background check started in April last year (April 2018) and still running
January 2016 applicants :)

Thanks.

Dear Sir, I received an ITA in April and in my EE application I mentioned that I have an uncle who lives in Alberta and has PR. But unfortunately he is living with his son and he has no lease agreement or utility bill under his name. Is there any other documents that I can use to prove that he is physically present in Canada?

Hello. From what I could piece together from my notes, CSIS had finished their part and sent it back to CBSA around 6 months ago. Nothing moved in my file since then, and I’m approaching 2 years since AOR now. Which VO is handling your file?

Hello everyone!!

I had applied 5 months ago and ordered GCMS notes a month ago which showed that I have not attached the experience letters foloowing which I uploaded the
You need to send through your reference letters through CSE right away ....Depending on your AOR and what stage your application is, lots of chances of rejection if you don't send through the letters ASAP....
All the best!!!!

Hiee...I have attached the experience letters through web form and have also sent an email to CIC regarding the update...My application processing time last day is after 2 weeks ...any idea what is going to happen ?? Should I order GCMS notes again or should I call them to inform about the updates ?
