hi I have the same issue with my husband's name(PA) before. We sent webforms like 3 times, then i called ircc here in canada. they confirmed that they received the webform and will update the name on their system later on. they gave us a go signal to do the biometrics even the name on the letter was incorrect. He just needed to bring his passport for verification.
I understand we didn’t have prblem with medical it’s done and passed but he has to travel to India from Afghanistan to give biometrics and when he wanted to book it they told him that it needs to be fix before we go ahead do it even I called ircc she told me call India’s office directly and ask then if they could go ahead and do it with the name being incorrect it’s just one letter is missing man why so much problem I have to face

That's a big hustle. omg! i don't know if it depends on your visa office because my husband called our visa office also and explained the situation. The visa office considered his letter as long as the ircc will take care of the correction in the system. Anyway he has the Application Number and UCI..

Hi all - just wondering if anyone might be in the same boat as us...

In April, we got notice that the app been transferred to Sydney, Australia and shortly after that an FBI background check was requested (my partner worked in the US for a few summers). The letter said the FBI document must be received within 30 days and failure to do so could result in the refusal of our application. It was a bit of a tight timeline with a 2 week wait to get his fingerprints done and Easter holidays were in there. Anyways, we received it online, printed and mailed it to the Sydney office last week just within the 30 day timeline. My worry is that we haven’t heard anything back though...nothing to say they have received it.

It’s now past the 30 days and still nothing so we also emailed it to the office. Still haven’t heard back though?

I’m just nervous something has gone wrong. Does anyone know if they need the original certificate not just the one from FBIs online service? The original is being mailed from USA to Australia and hasn’t arrived yet.

Am I panicking over nothing and its normal to not hear anything when requested document is sent?

Thanks teamfor any help/support!

CIC doesn't send out confirmation that they have received things like PCC. Your request for PCC should disappear from your online profile eventually.

What doe pre-arrival email represent? Is it like saying you passed the eligibility and now its time for BGC?

Does everyone get pre-arrival email or is it only just some VO's or just some applicants?

Does Mississauga send these pre arrival emails?

that email contains information how can you find job in canada and blabla just information and one registration link about something ( dont have much info about it ) mostly people get this before a day PPR but sometimes they sent PPR directly and yes i seen mississauga applicants got pre arrival email

Has any Pakistani applicant on tracker tried calling CIC to know if their file has been moved to any visa office yet?

That email will have an attachment explaining various services available to immigrants from outside Canada. Its after background checks and everything is complete and might arrive just before or with PPR. I received one on the same day with PPR (Mississauga).
