My situation is exactly like yours. CanadaPost just says “most likely” it got delivered, but the tracking still shows “out for delivery”. This is my third year trying for pgp. I am thinking of sending another application package as “most likely” doesn’t help me much. I had taken the signature option as well but CanadaPost just threw their hands in the air. They say they cant do anything now nor can they confirm that the package was delivered. Not sure what happens if CIC receives 2 application packages.

My situation is also same. Sent application in 10th May via Canada Post Xpress post and expected delivery date was 13 May. It's showing out for delivery since 13 May morning. Tried reaching out to Canada Post but got the same response of ircc being a high volume receiver and out for delivery is the last scan that they can do. They say it's delivered to the PO box but I am just not getting the confidence..

Any ideas about contacting Ircc about this ?

try to compute first your husband’s income and yours too maybe you guys will be qualified. But if not I am sorry but don’t fill up the interest to apply because I don’t think letter will work. Maybe your husband has to work more if you think the current income is not sufficient. It is only May there is more time to catch up income wise. Good luck.

@nimesh147 and @canada119 - I'd wait another couple of weeks and see if the status change or ECAS is updated, if not I'd send another package with a copy of the print out from canada post showing "out for delivery" and a letter explaining what happened; that u didn't want to risk missing the deadline, yada yada.
I wouldn't do that until June though: there is still PLENTY of time for application to be rcvd/sent again. But that's just my opinion

No, I don’t know if that would meet the minimum income. You have to calculate yourself how much you’ll get from EI + other sources of income (if any).

No, You can't submit if they returned your application. Not sure about barcode though.

The guide says that each document that's not in English/French must be accompanied by translation, affidavit and certified copy.
Does it mean that we should submit both a photocopy (a.k.a the document) and a certified copy of the original (i.e. a 2nd photocopy that is certified)? I think a certified copy substitutes rather than accompanies the required document. Thoughts?

I have read a lot of people are discussing the family size issue in EOI vs family size on the actual forms. I am confused as to what was required.
My understanding is as follows:

• EOI: family size should be with parents included
• Forms: family size should be with parents included for all three year 2016, 2017 and 2018

Please correct me if my understanding is wrong

EOI did not mention about family size. The term used was family unit.
Family unit: Sponsor, co-signer, dependent children & any other person sponsored in the past. Then the second question: How many people do you want to sponsor?

In the form Financial Evaluation: They mentioned Family Size (the number of people we'll be responsible for).

Now here is the purpose of that form:
The Financial Evaluation for Parents and Grandparents sponsorship (IMM 5768) will help you, the sponsor, assess if you (and your spouse or common-law partner, if he or she is co-signing) will have the ability to support the person you are planning to sponsor and their family members.

So the form won't serve any purpose if we don't include parents in the family size. We're trying to prove here that we have established good income the past 3 years and are capable of supporting our parents even before they got here.

I sent the forms signed electronically for the paper app. I submitted and was sent a letter a couple of months later saying they needed the signed form which I had but didn't send in. Once I sent it in it was accepted.

1) sponsor father and mother only need one form, e.g., father as principal applicant and mother as dependent, correct?
2) only the principal applicant need to sign and date the form? does mother need to also sign?

My inlaws in Mumbai were sent a letter dated Apr24th by the Canadian high commission in Delhi asking them to do their medicals and the forms were enclosed and also asked to do get the police clearances done and travel form imm5562 completed.

I also received via email the same day the request but it was only for the medicals which we booked an appt. for right away on the first date available May 7th at Lilavati hospital with Dr Milan Sangha and they did the same - spent time from 9am-3pm and I called them a few days later and the nurse confirmed that the medicals were submitted electronically and had given the IME numbers for the forms which they submitted which they took a photo and my mother in law sent it via WhatsApp to me.

However, the police clearance request via snail mail caught them by total surprise on May9th when they received the letter. Now they are scrambling to get the same done - went to local police station in Vakola and they were sent to a cyber cafe where the guy luckily helped them submit the forms online and gave them a copy of the form and docs and they took it to the local police station and they got text messages to confirm application id MUCT############ and the Mahawallet Token ID is ############# and that they received payment for application id MUCT###########.

They are waiting and last night got a text message saying 'your application has been successfully approved by local police station'.

Does anyone know:

> What are the next steps - do they have to go to the CID office?
> Will they get a message saying it will be approved?
> Do they need to book an appointment?
> Will the PCC Certificates be available online?

I am not sure what app./website was even used to submit?
