The normal flow is Med -->Eligibility--> Criminality/Background --> Security--> PPR

Okhay but the last time I called them they told me criminality met, eligibility under review and security not started.

So I doubt if there is a pattern they follow

Sometimes when anything specific has to be reviewed or if an ADR was requested, then the eligibility is under review, for example even if your proof of funds are in FDs or other mean except from cash they will open eligibility again. Also if they want to clear your employment again.
So many times you will see criminality pass and eligibility started again

I called CIC yesterday and he told me I passed my eligibility and security is in progress since 12th April 2019
Criminality was passed on 20 November 2018 but was checked again and passed on 12th April 2019.
He told me there doesnt seem to be a problem not from what he can see everything looks gd and if they require something then they will contact me.

How long should I wait to see if its a normal security process or if I might be under security screening. Could I be put under security screening after 5 month and a half from AOR.

Got exactly the same AOR and security is also in progress, started a month ago probably. Looks like a common situation nowadays.

Hi Guys,

I have called twice in last today's to CIC and bothe the time they have informed me that my eligibility, criminality and security every thing is done since April 30th. According to the note Visa officer made in my file. The agent said they will send you instructions anytime to submit your passport. Is there anyone in the same situation? Do you know how much time they take to send passport request.
Please share your experience if you have been through the same situation.

I got an email that my EE profile has an update. So I logged in to my account and saw the profile has an update. The interview detail was under my message box in my profile. Hope this helps.

5th March - File move from Etobicoke to Niagara Falls.
Eligibility passed - 15th April
Background in Progress.

How can they go to criminality without checking eligibility? A11.2 is checked, In eligibility which is the basic calculation of your CRS, if you ordered your notes and check the initial notes, it will state A11.2 and CRS calculation. which means your eligibility is processed

In my case they started with criminality. Last time I checked it was still in process. Eligibility not started and never has.

I ordered GCMS and got Eligibility and security has not started yet, and criminality is in process.

I got the exact same response and after reading so many posts even I'm wondering if it is security screening.

When I called, the agent said security has not started and eligibility is still in progress. So it doesn't really make sense for me to be in security screening when security has not started and eligibility is still in progress.

Guys, I got the same reply from Ottawa CPC saying that my file requires additional verifications. I also went through some forums and saw that for all people with the same reply it took a year or more to get PPR. I am hoping this is not our case but it would be nice to keep in touch to see the progress or findings each of us make on our cases.

My AOR is Oct 1st and I am still in IP1. My 1st set of GCMS notes that I received by end of April showed no updates to the file since November. It says my eligibility is met (not passed) and criminality and security not started. Also it showed the Info Sharing as "In Progress".

I ordered a new set of notes this week cause that reply from Ottawa CPC got me very confused and stressed. I will let you guys know when I get them or if I get the PPR before that.
