Parents and Grandparents Sponsorship 2019

Hi there, hoping someone can help me. I am filling out the IMM0008 Dep form for my father who is the principal applicant. So for questions 10 I list my mother as his spouse and that she will accompany him for question 11 but I cannot find the key for question 12 - is she type A, B,or C? Has anyone else solved this? Apologies if it is really simple. I have looked through the guide and cannot find it.

This form must be completed by: You, the principal applicant, on behalf of each of your dependents not included in the Generic Application Form for Canada (IMM 0008).
So IMM0008 Dep form is not required to be filled my principal applicant, and spouse should have been listed in the IMM0008 Generic form itself.

Please correct me if you feel that I may have misunderstood this scenario ..thx

I also asked the same question to IRCC agent over the phone ans she asked me to submit the blank form and write Not applicable. doesn't make sense to me but still better than not submitting form at all.

A quick question, I searched in past years but I couldn't find any satisfactory answer.

Who receives the AOR, the sponsor (me ) or the principal applicant (my father ) or both?

I mean, given that they have requested both emails, I'm kind in doubt about who is going to be informed that our package has landed correctly.

If someone knows the answer, I would much appreciate the help

Hello,

My mother had submitted PR application back in 2005 which was returned back in 2012 due to change in LAW (Jobs, Growth and Long-term Prosperity act).The law stated all FSW application made before Feb 27, 2008 were terminated by operation of law if a selection decision had not been made by Immigration officer before March 29,2012. At the time, they had all the correspondence referencing ten digit application number starting with B xxx xxx xxx. Fortunately, after 14 years of wait, she was invited to apply under parents and grandparents through me. I have following questions for expert to assist me while filling the application.

1) Would the ten digit application number of her past application be considered as the UCI number for the forms?

2) Schedule A (IMM 5669); Personal Details: Q.4 Have you ever been refused refugee status or an immigrant or permanent resident visa to canada or any other country? No or Yes
Would you call the above return of FSW application back in 2013 as refused visa?? I am confused on what to select here Yes or no..

3)My father is going to apply as my mother's dependent. His visior visa got rejected back in 2004 and had a ten digit application number starting with V XXX XXX XXX. Would this be considered as UCI number in his PGP forms??

The sponsor get AOR. The email will be sent to email you have provided in the IMM1344 Q6.

Does it state somewhere on the documents checklist that the sponsor needs send a passport as well?

Last year my wife sent only bio page of passports and her parents landed as PRs, never got asked for full passport, I guess if they need it they will ask for all passports old or new later

Quick question regarding the education history of the applicant. for the background declaration form

number of schools you have successfully completed. My mother has done her masters. what should be the education breakup for her :

elementary . - number of years ?
secondary - number of years ?
university - number of years ?
other post secondary - number of years ?

For those who already submitted the application, did you send in the entire passport of your parents or just biographical pages? Social Media twitter is saying need to send entire passport but call centre agent said only bio pages enough and they may request later for full passport current and old. What should we do? Is there anything in the guide that say must submit full passport?

I sent bio pages + all the pages with stamps. Same thing when I applied for my mothers Super Visa

Depending on from which country she has completed her schooling. I checked for my mother she did her schooling in India and it is below.

elementary . - number of years 8 years
secondary - number of years ? 4 years
university - number of years ? 4 years of Bachelors

When I submitted my father's super visa and got approved I only sent my passport's bio page.
In my application for sponsorship I also did the same only bio pages for me, my husband's passport and my father's passport. If they request me all the pages then I will just provide it to them.

Who knows ? Mine was received on April 26th and I cannot see it, that's why I find it hard to believe what others are saying since applications only pop-up on ECAS when AOR is coming, not a week after being received

Just send biographical page, they don't care about visas or stamps, if you put a trip on the Schedule A, they trust in your word. They only want to see that your passport is valid for at least 18 months or the entirety of the process, that way if it's close to expiration they notify you to renew it...
