I hope someone can provide me the correct way forward. I had sent my application January 28, 2019. However, since IMM5669e Schedule A Background / Declaration was not signed by hand in addition to the electronic signatures, I have received my application back on March 21, 2019. My common-law partner's study permit expired Jan 30, 2019. She is within 90 days of the expiration of temporary status so we can apply for restoration. I have some questions before we take our next steps:

Q1. The application was received with the reason that IMM5669e was not signed by the Principal Applicant as highlighted in the attached document. Should we just sign and mail the application back trusting that this is the only error we have on the application? On the other hand this might just be the first error the Processing Officer found and he returned the application. Do they go through the entire application and send back all the reasons it was returned or just the first one they locate?.

Q2. Is the visitor visa application process to restore the status the same as applying online. Are there any differences in applying online v/s applying on paper? I know online processing time is much less than applying through paper. Any other benefits or differences?

Q3. Do I need to include the visitor permit with my PR application now or can I send my PR + OWP before I receive the visitor visa?

Q4. Since the PR application's processing time is 12 months, should I be choosing period of stay on visitor visa as more than 6 months. Although since we are including the OWP which has processing time of 4 months, should we choose period of stay on visitor visa less than 6 months.

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Congratulations to everyone who received their OWP and AOR

Hi Everyone, I am an Inland March 6th applicant I have received AIP on Jan 3rd and SA on Jan 14th. Sponsor side shows decision made on ECAS and PA side is still in process. On the GCMS Note its is written that they are doing an OS Examination for dependant child since Jan 10th. Does anyone know what is an OS Examination and how long will it take?

Please help...

Don't know what it is, but your AIP should be the end of all background check for you. Did it mention any dependent on your AIP?

Your questions are weird and confused me.
First you said your COMMON-LAW PARTNER are out of status - study permit expired -> It means your partner is not Canadian
Second you said you had VISITOR VISA -> It means you are not Canadian either
-> so how can you/ your partner sponsor the other 0.0

ANW, I assume that visitor visa is for your partner.
Q1. If I was you, I would go through all the application again to make sure no mistake to avoid wasting of time. As I believe, they will stop checking the application when they find the problem. It will be wasted of time and human resources to go through everything when the file has problem. The signature is the important thing as it declares that all the information provided is true.

Q2. I do not understand the 1st part of the question. It has some different between online and paper application. When you apply online, the system will mark that receive your application right away, in some specific application, the online one has a shorter period of processing. Besides you can check your status, the message of them, etc. you can also do that if they allow you to link your paper application with the online one.

Q3. You can just send your PR and OWP application. OWP will give you an implied status (if the study permit expired was not over 90 days), and with the implied status you are still maintained the legal status in Canada while waiting for PR. Beside, OWP allow you to work, visitor visa does not.

Q4. check Q3
