Hello everybody! Hope everything's having a blast and is excited for the weekend. I recently sent an interest to sponsor my mother and grandmother. I received the invitation to submit the application on the 24th. Here are my question:
1.Should I complete 2 separate IMM 1344 FOR each
2. Also (knock on wood) if one of them get denied, will the other application be affected?
3. Also, can they just signed the form (as principal applicant) and then send it to me and I will just be the one to supply the info needed?
4. I was on maternity leave in 2018, but it should be fine as long as we meet the income threshold (my husband will be a co-signer), shouldn't it?
5. Can I also just pay 550 : Sponsor your parent or grandparent (without the right of permanent residence fee) and the 75 Sponsorship fee for the meantime and just pay the right of permanent residence fee ($490) when they are approved?

Thanks so much!
Grandmother and mother should be two separate applications. Did you submit 2 separate invitations originally? They are adults so only spouse and children under 22 would be included together.

I received the invitation to apply for sponsorship for my parents.

My spouse passed away recently. In IMM-1334 form for question 9 what should I fill?

8 a) Your Current Marital Status : Widowed
8 b) and 8 c) are grayed out

9 a) Have you previously been married : Yes and provide details??
The period would be from Date of Marriage to the Death date of my Spouse?

Appreciate your help. Thank you in advance.
Yes you are right. from date of marriage to date of death of spouse.

Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
not true, you need a birth certificate of you - the sponsor, not the one you are sponsoring
I retracted my comment. Yes, you are right, the sponsor needs a birth certificate copy to show a relationship with the applicant.

Maternity Leave Ei is considered as an income and it is included in line 150 when My taxes are filed.
Yes if you followed the whole conversation EI from mat leave does not have to be subtracted from line 150. Regular EI needs to be deducted from line 150. This is all in the instruction booklet.

Hello everyone, my wife and I got invitations to submit applications for our respective parent. She is sponsoring her dad and I would be submitting an application for my mum. I met the minimum income requirements for the last 3 taxation years, however, my wife did not meet the requirement for 2017. I made a lot of money in the last 3 years and my income alone can sponsor both parents. Here goes my question, is it possible to co-sign my wife for her dad's application while sponsoring my mom at the same time? Our combined income from 2016-2018 will be in 6 figures which will be enough to cover the 4 of us.
Yes, you can co-sign to your wife to her dad's application. There should be no issue as you meet the minimum income requirement. You must send separate application though.

This is what invitation email says:
Below is a barcode that will help our agents match your application(s) to the information you submitted when you expressed your interest to sponsor. Please print this page and include it as the first page with your application.

This is what check list says:
Note: Include the copy of invitation letter.......Place this letter as 1st page of your application package (above the Document checklist)

Also, first thing anyone wanted to tell the CIC that "here is the invitation".

Thank you!
So is it the right order? First the invitation letter, second the checklist, third all other barcode page, and then forms and documents?
