From your fingers/lips to God's ears! Damn, I am going to lose my mind if they wait until August...The majority aren’t self-employed. My guess is May.

Some people said due to self employed tax deadline is July 31, they will only send invitations out in early August, I guess there will only be one invitation this year instead of multiple rounds
They will send emials to 20,000 applicants this year, still there are 7000 applicants left.. we can deduct few applications might be they won't apply.. will the remaining applicants profile would be transferred for next year or their this year journey ends if they dont receive the emails ?
We have the birth certificates but the names are not mentioned. I used the same BC for my PR.If you do not have birth certificates for your parents then how can you prove that the ones you are sponsoring are actually grand parents?

This question has been asked many times before, but there's been no satisfactory answer. My case is of grandparents sponsorship, so do I need both sponsor and parent's birth certificates with names of respective parents. Our certificates don't have our names nor of parents. This is how BC were issued in India some time back. It's very tedious to go there and get new certificates made. Please anyone with suggestions as we are expecting our invitations soon.
The below suggests they would contact people as they go through applications, just like last year:
"...
If you’re not invited to apply
We may do more than 1 round of invitations, depending on how many complete applications we receive at each round.
If you successfully submit the interest to sponsor form and you’re not invited to submit a complete application in 2019, we’ll keep your submission and contact information. Make sure you keep your email address up to date.

I know that will be stupid. I hope it's this week or next week. We ain't waiting no more!!!
Even if just one person, they will have to delay it to make it fair, if one is self employed and does not meet income requirements for 2015 then they are not able to apply till they have 2018 income tax, deadline for self employed to pay tax is end of July

That is for the extra 7000. No second draw this year. They accepted 7000 extra applications so they don’t need to do a second draw. They only have email info for the first 27000 EOIs.

I thought he was referring to the 7K left, not the ones that didn't get a spot on the first 27K.
Personally, I doubt they will open another FIFO/lottery draw this year.. or even for next year to be honest.
I was hoping saying "No wait, they just didn't do their homework" would make it clear I wasn't serious about the requirements being a secret. That's not true. Eligibility requirements were released before. People don't read them.
If you not waiting, then what will you do?I know that will be stupid. I hope it's this week or next week. We ain't waiting no more!!!
