Medical Insurance question

I am planning to apply my mother-in-law for super visa. it says that i need to show a medical insurance policy that is good for 1 year. So meaning that i have to buy the insurance good for 1 year ahead of time before submitting the application online? If yes, then what if they refuse the super visa application? I have not tried to contact any insurance company yet.

Yes, you need to include the super visa medical insurance with her application. It is a mandatory document. Minimum coverage of CAD 100,000 for one year.

The start date can be the intended date of her arrival. Do speak with insurance brokers

DO you know anyone that had experience of getting rejected after applying their super visa that already bought a medical insurance? did they get something back from insurance company if they shared this experience from this forum. Thank you for your response.

Yes, it is possible to get a refund if the super visa is refused. Do speak with insurance brokers
