18yrs old 19 soon trying to get pr car

hi. I`ve been living in Canada since late 2013 with my grandparents straight. I was wondering if they can sponsor me to get my pr card. both of y parents are alive but they haven't seen me or talked to me since late 2013. I have not received any financial help from my parents and everything was supported by my grandparents.
currently my grandparents and my aunt are Canadian citizen if that helps.

Unfortunately they cannot sponsor you. Best bet is to work on getting a university degree and work experience so that you can qualify for PR on your own. Look into the express entry program so that you can see what it takes to qualify. Right now you need 440 or more point to be selected through this program. Good luck.

yes and I`m currently international student + I came here beginning of grade 8 and finished grade 12 then im attending local college.
btw I was looking through cic website and I found that I`m a type A dependent child? so by any chance can you please explain what that means?? thanks

You aren’t a dependent child unless your parents parental rights have been terminated by the courts and your grandparents have adopted you. You have always been an international student and your grandparents have been your guardians. You should really be speaking to them since they would have had to apply numerous times for your international student visa including for your recent college entrance.

I`ve been doing all the paper works for my visa since gr 10... and im currently considered as an adult in korea but even now if my parents terminate their parental rights is it still possible to be as an dependent child? or since im considered as an adult in korea does that makes me as an dependent cause im an adult witch it means no longer under parental rights stuff

Unfortunately this doesn't make you a dependent. Your grandparents would have needed to have formally adopted you years ago.

Given your age, any attempt to arrange an "adoption" now would be seen only as an attempt to gain immigration status, known as an "Adoption of Convenience". This would make any sponsorship application "fraudulent".

Adoption many years ago would have been considered adoption of convenience so it doesn’t matter when they would have applied.

No way for you to say that for sure without knowing the circumstances of why the child went to live with the grandparents.
