Hi there. My AOR is Nov 2 and MEP is Dec 3. IP1 is also Dec 3. But I still haven’t received any other update. The last update I got was that my app has an Eligibility MET status. But my background check still says that the review hasn’t started yet. Please guide me seniors.
I would suggest you to wait patiently and do not rely on account status. I am also in ip1 but as per my conversation with cic, every thing is in order and i should get ppr soon. Moreover, there are cases where ppr is received immediately after ip1.

Hi everyone!
Congrats to those who have received the golden mail.

My AOR : Nov 2, 2018
FSW- India / Single participant
NOC 4012
No status update ever since medical is passed in December.
Hardly 20 days are left in processing time completion.
Should I call them or ask for notes?
Could someone guide?
Thanks

Just be patient and wait for 20 more days. After that, order notes as its the only thing which will give you a proper picture.

I generally don't like writing negative posts and debated on whether I should write this one, but I will have to disagree. While it is true that every one has their own way of dealing with stress, every one is also human and when there are 10 posts from the same person every single day without fail complaining about how no updates since MEP, it gets old very, very fast. This is after I've reassured him over multiple replies and even private messages that no updates since MEP is perfectly normal and there will be no activity on the application until the 6th month.

And then there are constant daily complaints over how the Canadian immigration process is completely unfair, which will leave a bad taste in everyone's mouth. Especially as Canada's immigration process is one of the fairest ones in the world. Almost every country requires you to have some combination of local college degrees, tens of thousands of dollars of application fees and/or hundreds of thousands of dollars in investments to immigrate whereas the Canadian immigration process only requires a few hundred dollars in fees and based completely on merit. A process doesn't become unfair just because one has to wait a few months more to get a visa than some other fellow applicants. If another visa office or visa officer processes someone application faster, should that person be made to wait until applicants in the queue before him are cleared? How is that in any way fair?

I write this in hope that this post will be taken in the spirit of constructive criticism rather than a personal attack by sithlord if he reading this (+ anyone else reading). I mean no offence and write this in the spirit of debate and open discussion.
I will agree with some of your points, for example, with the fact that somebody might be irritated because of multiple posts of a person. Although, somehow sometimes criticism toward Sith's post looks like more like personal attacks than desire to just look at a more "cleaner thread". Firstly, I want to tell that I don't consider your posts in such a way but in the same time there are many people here who just want to mock him for being too posting type. I strongly believe that it is not how this forum should work. All of us have the same concerns in a bigger or smaller way so why to not support each other :p.

And for the Canadian immigration system. Yes, it is one of the easiest way to go live somewhere from your country. But in the same way some transparency would be great. Applicants who aware in what stage their application would be more calmer. And I don't mention that IRCC can refuse an application due to mismatch duties with NOC.

I want to believe that in one day all of us will get PPR and wishing to get it sooner that later is not a crime.

I will repeat after you that my post is not a personal attack at anybody but my opinion on this matter.

Guys, still a lot of you are approaching the end of deadlines and are worried about nothing happening, here are my suggestions

1. Wait patiently. You have already made it this far, waiting for 5+ months. Just another month is nothing now, just stay calm and wait. Based on Sept & Oct AOR trends, almost all the activity and PPRs are happening in this 6th month so there is a very high probability of getting a PPR or some other update in your application in the last 30 days of it. So just be patient, good news is probably around the corner.

2. Order GCMS notes. If you foresee some issues with your application, then better to order GCMS notes as all the eligibility steps except final review will most likely have been completed and notes made. If you don't foresee any issues, then just wait till end of six months and order GCMS notes to see if there is anything delaying the application.

3. Call IRCC/raise CSE. I do not recommend this option. The issue is that the agents are very inconsistent in their replies. Most agents will just read the same status you see when you log into your application online. A few will read the status of the first page of the notes (which again is not always in sync with your application). Very few will actually take the time out to read the actual notes and respond. Sometimes they will make mistakes and share incorrect info. So you will call IRCC first time and they will say eligibility recommended pass and then call second time and they will say eligibility not started and you will be confused. So better not call them as it will only add to your anxiety and confusion levels.

Hello,
I wanted some advice.
Aor - 28th nov , mep - 8th jan. No movement since then. I haven’t paid rprf. Should I pay it now or wait for them to send a request?
Has anyone got rprf request recently?

An actual agent will respond to you in about a day or 2 with the expected due date for you notes and then will apologize about the backlog, then they will go on further to say they have flagged it for urgent processing, that’s been the case for myself and 4 more persons I know personally, however I hope in your case it won’t be that way.
You are absolutely right.

For some reason, GCMS notes are being processed slowly, it takes longer than 30 days :( [requested on Feb 28, 2019]

This is their response after an email complaint:

We acknowledge that your request has been received and is in processing. According to our records, your request was due on April 1st 2019. Although we make efforts to provide timely access to records, the large volume of requests our institution processes makes it impossible to determine the exact date your file will be ready. Please note that we have flagged your request as priority and the information will be forwarded to you as soon as possible.
