Hey guys.. finally got my GCSM notes...
Soooo: Very little work done on my file.. and even though it seems to be in IP2(Background check in processing and MEP), I would assume IP1 and 1/2 :)D ).
Eligibility: Not Started
Medicals: Passed
Criminality: In Progress ( Office notes say recommend pass)
Security: Not Started
PNP: Validated

Transferred from CIO to Etobicoke because of workload (re)-distribution

Oh well, back to the bench and wait...

My AOR is 26th december and also i am Nigerian, my profile was also last worked on in march 11th, i hav eligibility recommended pass and criminality done, just security left, and recently i have seen about 3 Nigerians in similar boat, so am thinking they intend to attend to us during a particular period....just my thinking....

I don't know if this matters at all for CoPR validity date, because I don't have mine, because CPC-Ottawa hates me and my photos. I just thought I'd let you know another piece of info.[/QUOTE]

Lolsss.....How can they hate you when they hardly know you. That's not possible.

Yeah, isn't it strange that your wife gets a longer medicals validity period because of the furtherance? Counter intuitive.

As for the CoPR validity date, I've seen a bunch of posts mention that it was a year to the day they appeared for their medicals, so I'm wondering if that will line up for either of you because your wife had a furtherance. <Dramatic music crescendoes>

I'm really wondering about that part. In my GCMS notes, it shows my medical "valid until" is November 29.and then on my wife's where she had the furtherance, hers shows valid until Dec 17. Both of our actual medicals were done on November 1, I believe.

Both medical sections also have a "validity date" that is 1 day before the "valid until". I don't know if this matters at all for CoPR validity date, because I don't have mine, because CPC-Ottawa hates me and my photos. I just thought I'd let you know another piece of info.

My immigration story:

123 days from AOR to CoPR!

1 year IEC WH, 1 year IEC YP (got my YP and PNP through the same company), been on implied status twice, been out of status once (between YP declined extention and receiving work permit through PNP)

NOC 0631
1 Year Canadian experience, 1 year foreign experience.

Nationality: Estonian
Age: 27
CELPIP: L: 11, R: 10, W: 8, S: 8
Current residence: Vancouver, BC
Police certificates (2): Estonia, France

PNP - September 19, 2018
Biometrics - September 26, 2018 (Flagpoled and received 2 year work permit)
ITA - Oct 3, 2018
AOR - Dec 1, 2018 (and paid RPRF)
MEP - Jan 15, 2019
E-mail for a scheduled interview - March 14, 2019
Employer received a call from IRCC to confirm employment - March 28, 2019
Interview - April 3, 2019 - CoPR issued. The agent asked very casually if I work at the moment, if I work 50 hours a week (trick question, I submitted 40 hours a week on my application), where do I live, where is the restaurant. Then asked the questions if I had committed any crimes in and outside of Canada. Do I have any dependants. What is my marital status.

No application updates on CIC page between MEP and APPROVED. (Even the interview line was still "You dont need an interview"). Did not call or request notes for my application. Just have been patiently waiting.

Feel so much joy, relief and gratitude! :)
Good luck to everyone, the waiting is worth the end result!
Congrats! So you got your work permit through PNP, but declined the nomination and went the EE route?

Hi guys..

Called IRCC again today.. it was my third call as I have completed 4 months.. Unfortunately, no update since my last call..

Moreover, agent told me that last updated date on my file is 30th Jan which is over 2 months..she told me that agent might have touched the file but didn't find anything worthy to update notes

Hi Guys, I've a quick question if someone can please help.

I got my PPR on 26th March and I sent, along with my passport and other documents, a return FEDEX envelope with label attached. My application was thereafter approved on 2nd April.

But I have not seen my return tracker activated yet. Could it be because I sent a return envelope instead of the label? I realized that I needed to send only the label when I was rechecking their instructions this morning.

I haven't received any email from them around the return label yet, but should I create and print another label in PDF and send it across?

I follow up other months as well, it seems that there is a good advance on folks from September and October, what is fair enough, they are waiting for more time...
It just seems to me that the average is really between 150 - 180 days, of course, we can get ours with 120 days or even less, but it seems to me that there is a big backlog to be worked on...
If I would place a bet I would say something like May 15, around 135 days at a minimum, just speculating. Hopefully we will get sooner rather than later, however the number of applicants of previous months that are waiting doesn't help on this confidence. The day will come, it is just a matter of patience.
