My immigration story:

123 days from AOR to CoPR!

1 year IEC WH, 1 year IEC YP (got my YP and PNP through the same company), been on implied status twice, been out of status once (between YP declined extention and receiving work permit through PNP)

NOC 0631
1 Year Canadian experience, 1 year foreign experience.

Nationality: Estonian
Age: 27
CELPIP: L: 11, R: 10, W: 8, S: 8
Current residence: Vancouver, BC
Police certificates (2): Estonia, France

PNP - September 19, 2018
Biometrics - September 26, 2018 (Flagpoled and received 2 year work permit)
ITA - Oct 3, 2018
AOR - Dec 1, 2018 (and paid RPRF)
MEP - Jan 15, 2019
E-mail for a scheduled interview - March 14, 2019
Employer received a call from IRCC to confirm employment - March 28, 2019
Interview - April 3, 2019 - CoPR issued. The agent asked very casually if I work at the moment, if I work 50 hours a week (trick question, I submitted 40 hours a week on my application), where do I live, where is the restaurant. Then asked the questions if I had committed any crimes in and outside of Canada. Do I have any dependants. What is my marital status.

No application updates on CIC page between MEP and APPROVED. (Even the interview line was still "You dont need an interview"). Did not call or request notes for my application. Just have been patiently waiting.

Feel so much joy, relief and gratitude! :)
Good luck to everyone, the waiting is worth the end result!

Hi all.....my AOR is 5th Dec 2018. I am in the FSW-O category and 2 family members (myself & spouse) from India.

I called up IRCC on 1st of April 2019, and the customer care guy informed me that my file was moved to NDVO on 28th March 2019.
I noticed that for few other guys from Dec AOR, the file was transferred immediately (or withing 10-15 days) after medical passed, but my MEP was 15th Jan 2019, and file was transferred to NDVO on 29th March 2019.

I have heard that NDVO takes around 6-8 months time, so does it mean it'll take another 6-8 months from 28th March 2019 or from AOR.

Also, does this mean that my initial checks were does in CIO, and only final approval is pending in NDVO, so time taken for PPR could be less.

Any help on this is much appreciated. Thanks.

While no one can tell you how long your application will take to process, IRCC now does the bulk of the processing onshore in Canada and it is increasingly common for IRCC to issue PPRs directly out of CPC-Ottawa, for example, for FSW-O applicants resident in India. It is not clear why or when an application is moved to NDVO, but you're right that it is notorious for long delays. Good luck, and keep reading the forum! Also, I recommend you create a profile on MyImmiTracker.com, if you haven't already done so.

My documents were received on Mar 29th and the photos were rejected via email April 2nd with 7 days given to give them a tracking number for new photos or else they were going to use my envelope/labels to send my "passport" back, which is totally stupid, because it's not my actual passport. So they're going to waste my money for my international label to send my PHOTOCOPIES of my passport and REJECTED photos back if they aren't satisfied within 7 days. So dumb.
seem to be a quick process, my passports reached them on Apr 3 , no updates to CIC account yet, hopefully I also have a 5-7 day turnaround time

I stand corrected, my passports were delivered on Apr 3 , I see an update in my profile . It says a final decision has been made and application is approved. It also show two line items (I and my wife) showing Counterfoil number and a expiration date of end of year , what does this mean ? The return label tracking number is also not active yet.

See the link in my signature and use the Hangouts dialer app. You don't need *67 with Hangouts dialer.

The date of expiry is likely the last day by which you can use your CoPR, which should be a year from the date you went to the doctor for your medicals.

Click on the link in my signature on how to call IRCC. If you're on a phone and can't see my signature, turn your phone sideways.

I'm really wondering about that part. In my GCMS notes, it shows my medical "valid until" is November 29.and then on my wife's where she had the furtherance, hers shows valid until Dec 17. Both of our actual medicals were done on November 1, I believe.

Both medical sections also have a "validity date" that is 1 day before the "valid until". I don't know if this matters at all for CoPR validity date, because I don't have mine, because CPC-Ottawa hates me and my photos. I just thought I'd let you know another piece of info.
