Hey guys, I'm just joining the forum. I need advice. I signed my application for March 29, 2019. But planning to mail first week of April. Next week.

- I am separated, not legally just living different addresses over a year now.

- I'm applying for citizenship for myself and 2 kids ages 6 and 14. 14year old lives with his father however I'm putting him on my application.

Question:
1.On application Do I tick married or legally separated?

2. Will it be an issue that my son(minor) has a different address?

3 what ID do I use for both kids?

4. Do I need to include landing papers in application? I landed in 2015 as a PR

Hello all,

I just have a quick question; if you've gotten your PR card renewed roughly a year and a half ago, does this impact citizenship time? I mean they must have done all the extensive background checks, and etc when they renewed my PR card. I'm roughly over 1,600 days so I'm not worried about that. I also do know its case to case, and person to person, however it should be a relatively easier process for me, no?

Thank you very much for your opinions. Was just looking to get some information.

If you are Not divorced , you are not considered as Separated. So you are married until separated by court decree.

I do not think it will be an issue. If you want you can send the reason on a separate sheet.

You can use Passport and Health Card

Yes please do include Landing Papers Photocopy

What land papers do you mean? I believe neither the COPR nor the PR card is required to be sent with the application

Yes , its not required , but its better to send them. They are integral part of Canadian PR . You only sending copies , not original.

Hi,
the best way is to send required documents only, nothing more nothing less.

Please add me to the list;

Location: Toronto, ON
App Type: Single
Physical Presence: 1796 days
App Sent: March 9, 2019
App Delivered: March 15, 2019

On a side note, how long does it take the application to be attached/registered to my CIC account? (if at all)

Done.
Based on current backlog, March folks can expect AoR in May. Once you get AOR, it will be registered to your eCAS account (not the myCIC one) in 2-5 days
If app is returned, it will be not in eCAS. Only accepted applications show up.
