You take CoPR to landing. They stamp it and you're then a PR (party time). Your PR card (which is not required for you to have to be a PR) will arrive at the address you give them at landing. PR status is separate from the PR card.

If you have to travel to India, for example, by air, and you require a visa/eTA normally to travel to Canada, you'd need to get a PR Travel Document before returning (if you have not received your PR card) because the visa they put in your passport for landing is a one-time use. However, if you have authorization to be in the US, you can enter by land again using just CoPR.
Is it normal to not see have any updates in your IRCC profile even though you've got the PPR email ? I'm wondering before sending out my passport to Ottawa that this is for real . I've been trying to call IRCC but cannot get through .

How would someone know your email to fake the PPR and know when you should expect PPR to fake it? How would they know the application number to put in the email and the Annex A?

I think you're trying to find a conspiracy where there is none. Take a victory lap and send your passport/photo/annex A!

If you need confirmation, you can surely get through to IRCC on the phone. Use the instructions in my signature. Dial the 613 number, enter 1, 1, 1 to get to IRCC. Then options 2, 1, 1, 0 (family sponsorship options) to get straight through to a rep. If it says they're busy, wait a minute and call back until you get in the 30 minute queue.

There are no updates in your account other than the ghost update (the day before PPR probably), which you clearly missed. If you missed it, you have no way to go back and see it again.

Just received an interview request for issuing CoPR in Montreal!
Inland/CEC, Aor 21Dec

I applied from Quebec and in that request they say I MUST bring "Québec selection certificate". I send them an email asking why. Have never got this paper and you not suppose to have it at all when you apply through EE as I am aware. Hope this is just leftover from the standard email blank.

I have a question for you guys. They also ask for the proof of payment of the Right of Permanent Residence Fees. Did anyone here receive any payment confirmation? Because I did not. Probably the copy of the bank statement is my only proof.
I paid upfront when I applied and they send a receipt to your email, or you could screenshot the approval screen. Anyways, I guess your credit card payment statement should suffice.

Hey @FedD, I imagine you have researched this but I didn't think you could apply to move to or continue to live in Quebec via Express Entry? Did you have to convince them under the following exception that you will move out of Quebec once you receive your PR?

I guess i'm being overly cautious ,someone close to me just was a victim of a hack attack I have the photos and everything ready to do , just have to drive down to Canada post but wanted to make sure this is the pattern that other experience as well .

I'm trying using the same instructions to call them, they keep saying they are busy, now I finally got in with a 40 min hold time , let's c if I can get through to an agent

Alas, totally normal. While the IRCC gods have showered applicants that live in the US with PPRs, the rest of us Outland candidates are trundling along. This is the latest on my application. Good luck with the wait!

Just off the phone with IRCC as I hit half way yesterday.
30mins on hold and spoke to a nice agent called Abraham.
Criminality: Passed
Eligibility & security: Not Started

Experts out there, is this normal for 3months in?

Hello, I have worked in Quebec and stayed here to wait for my PR. I am aware that I must leave this province.
I chose Alberta as my destination and during processing of my PR they have asked me additional document "Alberta settling plan" or something like that. Where I provided brief information about why Alberta. So this "Québec selection certificate" request is really confusing for me.

Thank you!
I don't know for sure if that was my processing visa office. But, I guess that it was
Did they ask you to attend Montreal s office for CoPR? If yes, did the ask in the email for "Québec selection certificate" as well?

What is your Annex A? Mine is just a form with a barcode asking for name and current address. They use this to link up your application when they receive it and for them to know where to send it back. It was pre-filled with my name/information at the top and this was only for me, the PA.

I have Annex A too

If your Ready for Visa letter says something different, you show follow whatever it says. If you have questions about the letter and how to act upon it, you should call IRCC (see my signature for instructions).
