ok, so i have a question.
What is the difference between asking for information using the Webform vs a Email for your VO office?
The Webform is pretty much the same info we get over the phone or on our account.
But what about the Email to the VO?

Hi Guys. Last Month on 20th Feb I had gotten Additional documents Request.( Family information Forum) I had submitted right way. Then now 2 days Before I got the Same Additional documents Request, But this time it's fir my wife.I have no Idea What's Going on.

Although this is nerve racking, i would not see as a bad thing.
At least you know they are really looking at your application and have some questions. You will answer and clarify any questions / form and the analyses of your application will continue.

I see the request of more information as a confirmation that your application is indeed being analyse.
Just send everything they are requesting and wait, fingers cross! Is going to be ok!

Did your background check start yet?

Interesting enough, I got a response different form the info on my account, it's more like what I got via calling an agent..I guess they can see more about your app just as the other agents do

I don't think you'd get a reply about your application using a webform if you are still under 6 months processing time. You can only use it, for now, for updating your contact info and/or providing a document.

I got a 'real' reply 2.5 months after AOR from webform... but how do you guys know what is the email address of a specific VO? Thank you

Hi guys, If my app was approved and I was told that I would be contact for landing interview, do you think it is my local vo (I am inland cec applicant) who will contact me? Thank you...

Webform replies are generic mostly. They are just faster than email. Webforms give you a reply within 7 days while email take upto 30 days.

Only time I had sent an email to them was on the CPC-Ottawa email to extend my passport submission date. And it was on the same email address that I had got my PPR from.

Emmm... Thank you for sharing that... I use webform to ask about my ghost update and the agent told me a decision has been made on my application, but No further details. I have to call to double check with them... If it can take up to a month to get replies from a local office, I guess I just have to wait patiently and Hope nothing goes wrong...It takes as long as getting notes lol

I also got to know from an agent that I was approved and it took around 4 weeks after to get the PPR. But it was well under the 6 months timeline. Patience is the key my friend! :-)

Good Luck!!!!! :)
