Congratulations! Did you submit a RCMP certificate yourself? I might call them too then. I've had the pre-arrival on March 13th, but other than that nothing has changed on my GCKey since medical passed on Feb 3rd.
did you submitted all required document

Yea it takes them a while to update GCkey and its no way near accurate time line. I submitted my medical with the application still took over 2 month to change it to pass. Yea i got rcmp finger print back ground check from local rcmp. It took 3 weeks to get the document from ottawa and then i forwarded that document to sydney.
Oh wow, did they request that from you?

I'm worried now I've skipped a beat, because I didn't submit any kind of in-Canada RCMP certificate or check with my application, I've always been under the impression they only needed police checks from outside of Canada. But I've had my AOR and my pre-arrival letter, so I'm guessing if anything was missing they would have told me by now? I was extremely, extremely thorough with making sure I had all my documentation, and added a lot of additional stuff with an LoE, just to be safe. I'll give them a call tomorrow and hopefully get some good news.

Again, congratulations. You must be so relieved! :D

I thought that too that rcmp might not be required. But they asked for it. Also i been in canada for 5 years now that might be the reason. Another possibility might be since we are exempted from bio metric, they still need some record thats why they asked for it. But i dont know if its mandatory. Also any missing info or document can push the application to 2-3 weeks.

I guess your document request was quite a while ago, pretty soon after your AOR too! I'm gonna guess that if they wanted additional docs off me they would have asked by now. Thanks for the advice. :D

My colleague has had his application for PR approved today. His timeline is the same as mine (see signature). He called IRCC this morning for an update and they said that it was still in processing. He then received the PPR email a few hours later! They have told him to pay his RPRF at Halifax when he goes to sign COPR. :D

Oh wow that is very quick, where is he from? well I hope yours comes through this week. Maybe give them a call to see where your case is. They don’t normally give PPR without the RPRF fee being paid before hand. He certainly had the luck on his side.

He's Filipino and his application was made inland. He got lucky with that, that's for sure!

Thank you Stone18, yes my brother is from the Philippines. May I know if your husband is already PR when he left the Philippines or his holding Work Permit? He wasn’t asked in the airport for the OEC and how did he get the PDOS? Already talked to POLO Toronto and told them that my brother was LMIA-Exempt but the staff said it is thru direct hiring so he has to undergo POLO. Also, what year did your husband moved to Canada? Thank you so much for the info, will try to follow up again with POLO,Toronto.
Hi everybody! Can I join this thread? I am from the Philippines, currently holding a WP which I received last January. Sadly, our PR application got returned due to incomplete forms so we’re planning to apply again. My concern is if me and my wife, who is also holding an OWP under my AIPP, were to exit the country by April, should we get a PDOS or an OEC? We’re also looking around the internet and possible contacting POEA and OWWA by this week to get their side on our inquiry. Thank you!

I got it wrong. He had already paid RPFR fees. He showed me his letter today, I had misconstrued what he told me, it actually says if he hadn't already paid them then to do so online now and wait 5 working days before visiting the Halifax office and take the receipt with him. That gives me a lot of hope!

We think literally yesterday afternoon after he got off the phone to IRCC. He said that the agent he spoke to said his application was still processing, but wouldn't give a finer breakdown of its status. He got the PPR email a few hours later. Perhaps the phone call prompted them to click whatever they needed to on his file to trigger PPR.

Hi everyone, do you have any recommendations for how to get through to IRCC? I tried calling their number (888-242-2100) but each time when I press '0' to talk with an agent the recording said they are too busy to forward the call and then the call drops. Thanks in advance.

Hi OCD, sad to say but your employer should process it with agency in the Philippines as per POLO coz my brother was a cook but the salary is minimum so according to POLO Toronto they can’t justify it to POEA and must undergo an agency. Try to canvas some accredited agencies in Philippines and inform your employer but at the same time process the PR as it will take 4-6months or more according to Mercan. Don’t know how much they will ask though. In my brother’s case will just wait for PPR, praying for it to come soon.
