i am looking for someone who's been through all these study requirements and procedures.
im about to complete (8th semester) my graduation BS Computer Sciences in couple months. My CGPA would 2.8 and i believe if i try hard i could score 7 or above in IELTS. I want to apply for masters degree in computer science ,my Uncle (my mothers's brother) is Canadian citizen and would sponsor me for education .

I've heard that CGPA doesn't matters much if you are applying for computer sceinces.

Now , what are my chances ?
Any suggestion would be helpful, Thanks :)

First of all, it's better that you yourself or your father sponsor you. I had a similar case but my uncle transferred the funds in my father account. CGPA does matter atleast for cut off, meaning they will even not consider your application if it's below the threshold. Although they will consider it if you are really close to lower cut off. I had CGPA of 2.98 and still got admission where lower cut off was 3.

Best of Luck.
