Many congrats.

I received a call from cpc mississauga today evening. The lady was confirming the dates I was outside Canada. After which I asked her if all applicants are being processed quicker for which her response was yes. She said this was the last thing on my file and its complete after this. It looks like most people will get their DM's this month.

Hey guys
I read on some forums that the Vancouver office is slow with the interviews after the dm
Is there anyone here who lives in Vancouver and has got anything after the sa/aip or dm ??

Just saw a June applicant from Vancouver received a random/unscheduled phone call from CIC/IRCC, which turned out to be her Landing Telephone Interview and she is expecting her CoPR in the mail. So I did some digging and found out that there is a new pilot program initiated back on Dec 1, 2017, that allows CIC/IRCC to choose certain Inland applicants to do their Landing Interview over the phone instead of inviting them to a local CIC/IRCC office in person for a Landing Interview.

See the link for more details: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...-in-canada-permanent-residents-telephone.html

The questions she was asked were her current address and the name of her sponsor's (spouse's) mother. The same CIC/IRCC agent also spoke to her spouse and asked his work address and the date they met...

Although the applicant is from Vancouver, the phone number of the agent was neither a local Vancouver nor Ontario number but a number from Winnipeg... Surprises, surprises... :p:rolleyes::)

Maybe the phone calls that @satpal88 and @skhan1002 received were the same pilot project - Landing Telephone Interview?! Can you guys please elaborate more about the calls you received?

This will definitely save a lot of time for us, especially for those who reside in the Greater Vancouver area (the slowest office in terms of scheduling landing interviews - some had to wait 3 months)

Today, I was able to see DM on SA side. And on PA side it is just mentioned that PA's eligibility checking started on 12th March!
I (PA) was in a government job (contractual) back home.
Is it going to take longer time for PA's eligibility clearance? some please answer!

All of these updates are exciting!!! Nothing for me yet - I've always wondered what order they seem to go in, with people who applied later getting news before those who applied earlier. (Like when you get food at a restaurant and people who arrive after you get their meal first. ;) ) I'm just holding onto the hope that you guys are giving me!

september 10 applicant from Quebec we didnt get any news since That stupid CSQ paper and Medical exam , out of status , cant work , cant have a health card , why does it take so long for Quebec Applicants ? sorry for my language , so stressed

yeah keep eye on your ECAS, if it says in process or decision made? You will be expecting dm letter or landing letter. Good luck!
