Hello everyone!
I wanted to share the news as I have silently followed this blog ever since my AOR which was June 9th 2018. I have finally received my PPR yesterday.

I should mention that I am applying under CEC while working on a post grad work permit in TO. My work experiance seems to be the cause of delay as per the GCMS notes. It was constantly getting reviewed. My work permit expiry was April 2019. I have also applied for a bridging work permit, still in process. I think the delay was due to me not properly showing proof of work experiance. i should have hired a lawyer or agency.

Anyways hope the people still wating get the PPR email soon. I don't think they will make us wait this long only to reject it. So its just a matter of time.
Congrats

We applied for COPR and yesterday got a notification for medical surveillance for my spouse.

As per the notification we need to report to healthcare in our location within 30 days of landing.

As of now we are planning to soft landing and will stay there for 4 weeks and will permanently move Canada next year.

Any sugession, if we get the medical clearance with 1 month time? If not what are the alternatives we have?

What's the processing time for healthcare and Permanent resident card?

Their actions are not reasonable. In my case, they sent me ppr email even though the remaining time until medical expiration is less than two month and this time is too short for me and in your case they requested remedical although you have 3 months.:(
these are arbitary bastards! shame on them!

But for medical surveillance, they will do a check up and investigation if required.

Since we wanted to complete the medical survillance process during our short stay do we have any options.

If we ready to pay the expenses of medical tests if they want in place of waiting for medical card for 3 months and do investigation, will it work and do we have this option?

8th June 2019..its 3 months from now
Still why do they want to extend or ask for re medical ... I am ready to fly before that :/ they are simply delaying the PPR
Our Medicals also expires a little over a month i.e. 22nd June... Passport already submitted to VFS on 4th of this month and waiting for the COPR letter to come in our hand. Based on my research and opinion of forum members nothing goes wrong between PPR and COPR but am still a bit jittery.

Also, while I feel its less likely that they would give an extended deadline for landing considering we got our PPR 3 months 22 days (114 days) before Medicals expiry but I am really hoping that our COPR comes with some extension on the landing date so that we have the flexibility to get relieved from Job without hassle, wrap things up, meet family and friends as well as have flexibility to book a convenient flight. If anyone has encountered such an instance then pls do let me know.

For you Chirag, while you are willing to fly before medical expiry but certainly looks like they are considering extension of medical so that you have adequate time in hand. You can always choose to fly earlier.

I think they update it to "Approved" when your COPR is issued. Not sure though.
Just got an update that the decision envelop has been dispatched from IRCC office to Canada Visa Application Centre in CVO-New Delhi (assuming its VFS New Delhi where we submitted our passport and would be picking it from there itself) at 3:29 AM GMT which is like 9 AM IST.

But I checked the online account and the status has not changed yet. I feel it should be normal as they would need some time to update in the system but still wanted to ask friends here if someone has observed such a situation?

Congratulations @Hamxa!!!

It feel so good seeing people who have been silent readers but still want to share the good news with all of us. People in the group should be proud of having created an impact to elicit such response...

@cansha @tobs My file is in RR since past 10 months. the last GCMS note shows

A11.2 Appears Met
R75 FSW minimum requirement
FSW minimum points total :64
Outstanding document(requested) : RPRF

Review required is for a job I had put without providing LOE duties. My previous employer refused to provide roles and duties. The issue is that my current job experience is more than 3 years and CIC seems to be happy with NOC code and everything. CRS foreign work: 3 years 11 months.

Can you please provide next steps?
For Eligibility/A11.2 to be MET FSW points should be more than 67...
Surely something else is the reason for your case to be under review or getting delayed. Pls can you check your GCMS and evaluate once again.

Congrats Richa on your PPR. Even I received this message that division is made and our passport are dispatched to VFS N.Delhi.

Since we are in Bangalore so I am expecting passport to be delivered by this weekend only.

Do let me know if you get any medical extensions..

I am in a similar situation.. got Ppr yesterday and medicals expire 23rd april.. too soon to travel.. want to 're do medicals.. is that an option?? Or would they extend the medicals themselves.. considering the entry date is too soon and it clearly is not our fault..
Got ppr in 9 months ans 12 days
Its too short a time... Cant be sure but hope they would have extended it.
