Hi All - my application was received on 15th Jan, and I got an AOR today. However I am still not able to link the application using the application number received in the AOR. Could someone please guide where I may be going wrong.

Try using your UCI number instead. It’s weird because I was able to link the application before I got the AOR. Have you been able to link the OWP application?
I called the IRCC phone line, and they told me that my SA email ("This confirms that your application to Sponsor a Member of the Family Class has been received...") might be the only AOR that we receive. We'll see if something arrives in my wife's email on Saturday – when many of the AOR's seem to get sent.
We were able to successfully link the GCkey account to the app this morning... but we needed the phone-agent's help since it requires the Principal Applicant's application number – not the sponsor's – and her number wasn't included that in the sponsor email.
The agent was able to tell me that the OWP had been received as well, even though we have not yet been able to link it. She suggested that we wait a few days and try again.
The agent was exceedingly kind, patient and helpful.

That e-mail is the AOR. The application number (F followed by 9 numbers) is the same for the Sponsor and the PA. The UCI number you got in the AOR e-mail is the Sponsor's. Since you've linked the PR application, you should be able to see the PA's UCI online - use that to link the OWP with PA's information (it will take a few days before you can link it).

My husband who is sponsoring me got an email today 6:45 am saying :
“This confirms that your application to Sponsor a Member of the Family Class has been received by Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) on 2019/01/16 on behalf of the following member(s):”
I could not link OWP yet though.

Has anybody who’s application got delivered on 17 jan got the AOR??????
I’m 17 jan.... haven’t yet received anything
So I just called IRCC and they informed me that my application is being returned.
