Ok seriously still nothing from Mexico. My lawyer does not want to do anything. People say call MP. I have. He said call back in a month if nothing happens. It’s a month now. So what should I say to him to make sure something is done and can I go over lawyers head with this?

Sorry to hear this. Yes you can definitely contact your MP without going through your lawyer. I would say to him you asked me to call back in a month and that it’s over the year mark you’d like to know why it’s passed the year and you’d like there help to get an update since Mexico isn’t replying to you. Wishing you get good news soon!

My app is approaching the one year mark and I am afraid that my case will be over one year as well.

Have you tried to talk to Mexico VO and explain that your case is now over the one year mark? If yes, have they replied to you?

I m just trying to understand which actions can take when my process reaches the one year mark. I am going to bother as many people as I can to get it done - VO Mexico, MP, IRCC, etc
It is insane how IRCC treat app from Latin America ! All other VOs are much faster

Hello Everyone (Sep 2018 applicant). My file got transferred to Mexico on Feb 14th. I sent a webform to change my address on March 1st and got a reply stating that my application has been received by the Mexico Office and I will be contacted when the processing starts.
Is this AOR2 or just a response from my webform?

i got the transfer email, yet ecas not updated at all and gc key is the same as the day I linked it.

That is when Mexico opened your file. You should get the AOR2 email in a couple months.

Once you get the AOR2 email your ECAS will have a new line..
We sent......correspondence acknowledging receipt of........application(s) on ..., 2019.

I’m still waiting. Nothing said since Jan 29. Called MP. Going Monday to sign papers. Hopefully we finally move forward. Officially at 13 months.
