Anyone knows how long it takes to get the official request letter from MXICO-IM-RAU@international.gc.ca to get the police certificate? My wife is scheduled to travel out of Mexico soon and she's ready to go get it done, but still waiting for the letter.

I sent the request to get the letter on an evening and got an answer the following morning, didn't take that long. I got the certificate in Mexico City and was sent to a different office to get my fingerprints done, so make sure you guys go early to get it done in one day in case you have to do the same. It took about 8 business days to process. She will have to pick them up or leave a notarized letter to have somebody else pick them up. Might be better if she waits until she has them in her hand before she leaves, just in case something goes wrong.

Sorry for the late response! Yes we have decision made as of February 2nd and passport request was received February 5th. Passport was sent to Mexico on February 7 and we are just waiting for it to be returned.

Hello everyone, Does anybody know what it means when they say: Your application is in process, it is in a queue for revision? I sent an e-mail to request an update on the status of my application and that was their answer. My application is now slightly over the 12 months.

Ok seriously still nothing from Mexico. My lawyer does not want to do anything. People say call MP. I have. He said call back in a month if nothing happens. It’s a month now. So what should I say to him to make sure something is done and can I go over lawyers head with this?
