Very well said! I stand in a similar situation. Today is my birthday. People come and wish me. But in my mind I just see I just lost 5 points today. I waited over 2 years. Did IELTS 13 times. Haven’t lost hope. I am positively sitting at 443 now. I believe scores will drop during this month end. Don’t lose ur faith peeps. It’s ray of hope.

Waiting at 451 . I had 445 prior to this but saw the cut off was 457, had to book and re-take ielts last seconds.

However, for personal reasons, i need PR asap, otherwise I would have waited at 445 and saved $330.

With that being said, I think the scores will drop to low 440s at some points this year, so everyone in this range should be ok.

If the conservatives wins the election, that's when low 440s will need to be worried . But that's next year problem to worry about.

What does conservatives winning election have to do with this?

Sorry to be a downer but as per 2018 trend, CRS cut-off score can only go up from here. Remember, 2018 started with 440 and ended the year with 445. If the CRS cut-off score right now is playing around 445-450, then by the end of the year it's going to be 455-460.

With the federal elections in October and the impending decision on Spouse work visa in the US, the CRS cut-off score might increase to 460-465.

So for those who have the money to do so, please work on increasing your scores right now or seriously, seriously think about student visa options! (and also pray a lot that magically the pool decreases and people lose interest in migrating or that Australia magically loosens up its immigration rule since it just voted a pro-immigration PM)

I haven't checked the historical scores but if as you say 2018 started with 440 and ended with 445, that's a 5 point difference, so how do you go from 445 to 455-460? Also, recall that the target for the number of invitations has increased this year again v 2018

i agree that everyone should be working on increasing their scores but we've already seen the score drop to 438 for the year; lot's to be hopeful for;it only takes one back to back drop and the scores can drop a lot!

Its been exactly 45 days since last OINP draw, I suspect new wave of NOI to HCP coming soon

Yes.. high chance of oinp draw coming week immidiately after federal draw either on Thursday or Friday..But the sad part is oinp cut off will be above 440.. let us hope ontario targets below 440.. I'm fearing the worst that they might go back to job offer since there are so many people in the pool above 430 and it's going to be very difficult for them to select 1k profiles out of 9k+..

If you are not losing points anytime soon, you should be getting an ITA within 4 months.. if there are is a b2b draw in March , chances are in a couple of draws..

By when can i expect an ITA?

Hard to predict. But I believe you can expect an ITA this month end or April asuming there is no 3 week gap

Hi All, New here.... I just completed my EE profile on 25th February....CRS Score 453 (IELTS: S:9, R:8, L:8.5, W 7). Is this a good enough score to get an ITA? When can I expect an invite?
