Sorry to be a downer but as per 2018 trend, CRS cut-off score can only go up from here. Remember, 2018 started with 440 and ended the year with 445. If the CRS cut-off score right now is playing around 445-450, then by the end of the year it's going to be 455-460.

With the federal elections in October and the impending decision on Spouse work visa in the US, the CRS cut-off score might increase to 460-465.

So for those who have the money to do so, please work on increasing your scores right now or seriously, seriously think about student visa options! (and also pray a lot that magically the pool decreases and people lose interest in migrating or that Australia magically loosens up its immigration rule since it just voted a pro-immigration PM)

Hi guys I’m new to this forum...
I have a quick question can I apply for express entry. If my open work permit changes to employer specific work permit.

Not sure how you came to that conclusion when we had a score of 438 in January. Also, in 2016 we had scores as high as 495 that went down to 430s and lower in 2018. There have been many instances in which the cutoff has taken us all by surprise and have proven predictions wrong. There's really no concrete way to tell what IRCC is going to do. We're all only guessing.

It is unfair for people who should have gotten the ita in the 111 draw, if there were no back to back draw in January, if no three week gaps, the score would never be 457. Even those who were 456 mised the chance and had to kept waiting till now, and until next week. Why cic didn't do what it normally would? Bi-weekly draw? Why it had to conduct such unusual things, 3 draws in a month, then 1 draw in the next month. It's unpredictable and went out of the way for many people.

Exactly! It is so unfair when people put such an effort to achieve scores and have to wait like this without any hope due to unpredictable breaks and draws

Don't be so pessimistic guys..The forum is Ray of hope..
Guys with all your calculations and predictions-Respect. But give hopes to people waiting in pool. Don't comment solid conclusions when you are just assuming things.
Ray of hope should be alive 112 or
113/114 somewhere down the line we would make it.

Agreed! Predictions and calculations are very helpful but they're not concrete, final or 100% accurate so I don't think we should quote it as such and discourage others who are looking for encouragement and practical motivation/tips in a thread that is meant to give hope in an already very stressful situation. Let's remember, our words can make a serious difference in people's lives. I suggest we not tell people things like their dreams are dead, they have no chance or there is no way they can make the draw. How about we suggest ways they can improve their score instead?
