Met means recommended pass??
I heard, Met means that some analyst has reviewed and it is still pending to be reviewed by some officer who can make it recommend pass and only then it is cleared? is this true?
Met means the analyst reviewing your eligibility has given his approval. The final approval is done by the case officer. But if the eligibility is recommeded pass, then there’s no reason to worry about.

Hi Everyone,

Many congratulations to the ones who got their PPR.
I am a bit worried now, because I saw a couple of people getting their PPR despite having a later AOR than I do. I know each case is different but still freaking out.

Here is my timeline:
AOR - October 3, 2018
Request for RCMP - October 31, 2018
RCMP Submitted - November 6th, 2018

Express Entry

Review of eligibility - We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.
Review of medical results - You passed the medical exam.
Review of additional documents - We are reviewing the additional documents you provided.
Interview - You do not need an interview. We will send you a message if this changes.
Biometrics - We do not need your fingerprints. We will send you a message if this changes.
Background check - We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.
Final decision - Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.

Is there anyone with similar timeline / any update?

Thanks in advance.
I have a similar timeline to that of yours. CEC Inland - AOR October 30th, 2018. I tried calling up the CIC yesterday, the automated message said that my background check was under process. I haven't received a request for the RCMP fingerprints yet. :)

thank you for your reply. I think if they have not asked for RCMP yet, then you are good. Because I confirmed from few people RCMP is just random, not everyone gets it. I earlier thought maybe RCMP has delayed my application, but it does not look like the case.

Sorry it got rejected but please elaborate the reason?

Chances of rejection after 6.5 months is like 1%
I'm sure it was a rare case but it still hurt. A lot.
Application was rejected in the following grounds:
One of my work experience letters didn't describe my job duties, as required by NOC. Consequently, that portion of my work experien was deemed ineligible to be counted towards my one year of Canadian experience.
So that meant I was no longer eligible for PR.

Oddly, when my file was rejected, I had accumulated 26 months of Canadian experience (10 months that didn't get counted due to my error + 6 months via job 2 (this is when I applied) + 10 months from job 3). But that minor mistake cost be dearly.

That is indeed an extremely rare case!! Did they not ask you any ADR for that work experience letter? Did you order GCMS notes? It's usually highlighted there.

Really sorry for that. But no ADR ,no PFL ? That's really brutal on CIC part
