yes, you can directly call using hangouts dialer. no issues. you need to know your application number though.

Oh you are scaring me...it's been more than 3 weeks I have been asked for RPRF but no sign of PPR.... according to your research you mean I will have to wait for another 3 4 months....oh god...can't wait so longer...hands up

regarding currency fluctuation issue: did you get to know that through gcms notes or cic call? what was the difference in CAD btw?

Did you send the updated POF documents via CSE?
I paid RPRF upfront. Only thing holding my case from moving forward is the POF thing.

actually, i sent this query on offcial IRCC facebook page about currency fluctuation post-AOR. i got this reply from one of their social media team members (little paraphrasing):

"we use exchange rate on the day of AOR to determine eligibility. so if the difference is not much, you should be fine. however, visa officer might ask for updated POF is there is larger difference."

but this 200 CAD difference story is savage.

Currency fluctuations are a serious bummer. I am so disappointed in myself that my application is still pending because of just "200 CAD" which is not a lot as compared to 12475 CAD.

I took the initiative to use the web form to update my POF and attached with it a bank letter and currency exchange rate from a trusted website, the next day I got a response saying they had received it and had forwarded it to the case officer in Ottawa. At this time I'm waiting on God and them to finalise my application.

$21? Wow.
But it's good that you submitted all the documents proactively.
I am in the same boat, just waiting for an officer to review my file and take a decision.
In the LOE, I mentioned in bold the exchange rate for that day from the sites that IRCC reportedly uses so that they don't miss it again.
Hope we get our PPR's real soon
