Hi,

I would like to submit an additional document i.e Letter of Reference for one of my employers. I did not had this when submitting my AOR application and I had submitted a self-verified affidavit and other verification documents for that employer. I received this from HR a few weeks after submitting my AOR.

My AOR Date is July 21, 2018 and there has been no update as such. I have raised CSE twice but received a generic response and ordered GCMS notes and currently waiting for them.

I would like to submit this document in hope that this might speed up things in case there is a review required for this employer.

Can anyone tell me how to submit this additional document. Is there a way to submit it from within the cic profile or do I need it to send it to a particular email. Also any steps I should take before sending this document

Hello everyone

My AOR : 31st July,2018

Could you please share that what the underneath statement from CPC, Ottawa, could possibly mean?

“Please be informed that your application is currently in queue for review by an officer. Unfortunately, we are not able to provide you with a date on which your file will be reviewed.”

You can raise a CSE for additional docs. Explaining the reason for submitting those.

Hi guys!

I am new around here but have been following this thread for a while.

I ordered gcms notes in Nov 19th and received them 2 months later with the following info:

AOR July 27th
Medical: passed
Eligibility: met
Criminality: in progress
Security: not started
Due date: 2019/01/04

Today I called IRCC and the agent said my eligibility passed and my background check is still waiting to finalize. I asked why this last step is taking so long and he said the USA government strike has delayed background checks of applicants. I am not sure how much of this is true...I am brazilian with a simple travel history, 6 of the trips were vacations to USA in the past 10 years. Never lived in the USA, only in Brazil and Vietnam. I have no criminal records and provided both PCCs on my application.

He also said my application had a note it was delayed until May 4th, my primary office was Ottawa and now is Sydney, NS.

I would appreciate your input on my case. I am waiting for a new set of notes to arrive this month.

Many thanks!

Are you an Inland applicant ?
I lived in USA for considerable time, so maybe I can relate my application with yours...My PCC's from FBI are verified, still background check taking longer...

I am FSW Outland. Did you ask for your notes? What’s your timeline?

I didn't quite get the delayed date of May 4th. The agent really told you that your application is delayed till that time. What does that even mean?

“Please be informed that your application is currently in queue for review by an officer. Unfortunately, we are not able to provide you with a date on which your file will be reviewed.”
Sounds like something could have been marked Review Required. Have you ordered/received GCMS notes? Might be in your interest to do so if you haven't yet. If there is a pinch point you may be able to take some proactive steps to resolve it.

Hi All,

Interested in suggestions of what to do next.

We received our GCMS notes and we have a review required for my wife’s employment records. It doesn’t say why the review is required, but the document is probably more complicated than some as there are 3 different roles on the same letter, one full time and two part time. Each role is independently reviewed by the officer and each says confirms salary, and job description in line with NOC. However, each role and the whole document says review required - but doesn’t say why.

Last time our file was looked at was on the 4th September. That’s 4 1/2 months between the last action and raising the request for GCMS.

He told me my application had a note saying: “delayed until May 4th”. I don’t know what it means, I am assuming it is a new deadline to finalize it but I really hope he is mistaken. I can’t express in words how frustrated I am...
