I have a friend who is currently working in Montevideo URUGUAY since 7months and he has applied for B1/B2 US Visa last month and it got rejected due to limited ties with home country reason. He has applied for Canada Tourist visa last week and In IMM5257 for he has mentioned as NO for below question
Have you ever been rejected/refused for Canada or any other country visa?
he had overseen the question and mentioned as NO instead of YES, he has booked his flight tickets for Toronto for march 2nd week,Visa officer has mentioned the reason for denying as not answering truthfully for the questions asked.

Do you suggest in re applying the visa immediately would there be any scope of rejection if applied immediately.

Request for the kind response.

Did the refusal mention any ban, or did it say he can apply again? Did it mention limited ties like the first refusal? It was misrepresentation and that is a serious offence, whether it was a mistake or not, so if they were not banned they are lucky. I would say there is not chance of him getting a visa that quick anyway for March, so hopefully their plane tickets are refundable.

One issue at a time:
1. Did he receive a Procedural Fairness letter followed by a ban for misrepresentation?

2. His tickets/intended travel plans should be at the end of his list. He needs a TRV first.

3. Considering the successive refusals, it seems he wants to visit the US/Canada one way or the other. He must demonstrate stronger evidence of ties + a good financial situation + a genuine purpose of visit.... if he reapplies assuming he has not been banned for misrepresentation

Hi Many thanks for responding, It was not a ban & it was mentioned on the application to reapply. Do suggest him to reapply for the same immediately or with some time. Please help me with your response.

Await for your response.

Kind Regards.

You have got to tell us all the refusal reasons. If he does reapply, he will have to rectify all those refusal reasons
