Hi everyone,

I created this group to hear your insights. My foreign employer(I am claiming points for foreign work experience 3 or more years) indicated all required details in my reference letter, however he missed the # of hours. He only indicated full-time. Are there any instances the officer considered the application? I have 8 years work experience with them. I have only got a 1 year payslip from them. I am trying to request a new Reference letter from them but that company has closed already.

Any help? Thank you.

The number of hours worked per week is a required detail so that IRCC knows whether or not you meet the IRCC definition of full-time, so it is better if you can get the letter revised. If not, If you have any other written documentation about the number of hours you work (e.g. contract or written job description) then you might be able to use those documents to supplement.

Having said that, don't stress too much if you can't get it. People do get accepted where only "full time" is written. But personally I would not want to leave that to the discretion of the VO (It could go the other way, too).
