Apply for police clearance certificate(they just need a summary report) from each country you visited, once you get that use web form to upload it.

We got SA and medical request a few days after biometrics request.
Hello, I'm sponsoring my husband from Peru and the application was received November 29th, 2018. We are still waiting for AOR. What is biometrics? and if they ask for it, it's my husband that will have to provide them right? how does he send biometrics if he is in Peru. How does that work? Thank you kindly for your information

But the checklist clearly says the country where you currently live if you have lived there for six months or more and the country where you have spent most of your life since the age of 18. So they should not ask the above person for the Malta PCC if the the time of stay for their current country has exceeded into the ‘most of your life since 18’ zone.

Hi wanted to ask you. So have you stayed in your current place more than Malta since you turned 18?

About police certificate in my experience…
You have to submit certificates from all countries where you have been living for more than 6 months.
Take into account only the period of last 10 years (or since 18 years old if you are younger 28)
More details you can find on IRCC site (even whom to contact in each country to get it)

So, if you lived in Malta for 9 months and it was after 2009, you have to submit it

This was a requirement in the old checklist, (6 months or more) but after change it is ridiculous that they ask that. For my own case it will be tough to provide them with a Police Clearance since I have not lived in Nz since 2014. I turned 18 in 2012. I was there for 2 years studying there. How do i even go about requesting a Police clearance for a country I have not stayed in over 4 years now.
Sorry, I cannot get which changes are you talking about, because I started my immigration in 2011 the rules were like that, and when I applied for my spouse in the end of 2018 the rules stays the same...

There are several ways to get a Certificate:
- you can go to Nz Consulate/Embassy in you current country of living to ask for a Police Clearance certificate
- you can order it remotly (for some countries this is possible)

I'm sharing my experience :)
Longer then 6 months during last 10 years - you need the certificate.

Up to everybody to decide follow IRCC request or not.

I think it's a mater of luck if you are lucky with an officer they will not request the certificate, but If you are not lucky like my self -_- they will request it but as you said for the people who want to apply now it's better to include the other certificate so you avoid any delays

Hi, biometrics are when you have to give your fingerprints and photograph. It will be your husband (the PA) who has to provide them and he will do them from Peru if that's where he is based when they ask for them. They will contact the PA and ask him to pay a biometrics fee if he hasn't already and then provide further information as to how/where you provide them. He will provide them at a VAC - there's a list of them on the CIC website.
